LUDO the Merc Sprinter Bus: Fully off-grid, self-contained home – perfect for full-time van life

Fully off grid luxury camper van conversion; it is perfect for those who want to experience van life whilst still feeling like they are in a house!
I’ve lived in Ludo for 2 magical years – he is bulletproof!! However I’m now swapping four wheels for a backpack and passing this beloved van on to its next adventure buddy.
I will be very sad to see Ludo go, however he has held me well and I know he will make someone else a beautiful home now.

Conversion details (original build cost £35k):
– Full victron Electrical system with solar inverter

– Pionneer bluetooth stereo and x2 in phase subwoofer monoblock x2 tweet speakers x4 mid speakers (2 connected, 2 spare) to give surround sound

Vechile details:
– Mercedes Sprinter Bus
– Automatic
– 3.5t so can be driven on standard uk licence.
– 177k Milage (so it’s still a junior as these engines do 600k+)
– Ex service vechile so well maintained.
– Mechanically sound & No rust.
– MOT until end of July 2025 (aim to get a fresh MOT before sold)
– Last Service March 2024 (aim get a fresh service before sold)
– Last MOT hand break advisory (aim get this tightened before sold)
– New battery was replaced Nov 2024.
– Additional air suspension has been installed for ease of drive.

Points to note:
– Glow plugs light is on the dash. These don’t need changing (mechanically checked) however the dash light has always been on.
– There is a taco box installed as was previously a service vechile. It’s wired in, however not in use so that shows as a red TCO light on dash.
– Brand new diesel heater installed; however for some reason it’s not priming. I never got it amended as it’s so well insulated Ive never actually need to use the diesel heater.
– Internal CCTV installed however I’ve never used it & not sure how to
– One of the rear floodlight bulb needs changing
