New starter battery added in July.
I bought this van two years ago and have had some amazing adventures in her since she was converted last year. I bough her with only 79k on the clock and I have covered an additional 4k miles around France and the UK. Previously it was a PIRTEK highway maintenance van so mileage was largely on the motorway. I had to replace the starter battery on my last trip but other than that it has been great to drive and I’ve had no issues.
I converted the van myself in a very rustic style. There’s lots of space and room to stand up in, up to about 6ft. A lovely large seating area with table that drops down to create the bed.
It is well insulated. There is a skylight on the roof which open to allow a lovely breeze and come with fly nets and black out blinds built in.
Body work is generally ok but there are a few scratches/scraps, I’ve pictured the worst. There’s no rust though.
This van is solar powered with a 285 watt solar panel on the roof providing power all year round. I do have a split charger but I have not needed to install it as the solar panel has provided with plenty of power (you’re more than welcome to have it as well). You can check on the leisure battery output and solar input from your phone using the Vitron app which is really handy. Giving you peace of mind. There are six LED lights installed. To charge all your essentials there 2x USB connects. As well as the 12v system the van has a 240v plug socket with 300w inverter for smaller 240v appliances.
The bed is map up from the seat cushions and is a standard double memory foam mattress. There are storage cabinets at the side of the bed for clothing and reading light.
The Kitchen is a great space. There is a beautiful piece of wild service tree as a worktop and the double gas burner and sink sit on copper. The gas it connected to a propane gas bottle stored under the sink. Below the Gas Hobs is the Dometic Fridge/Freezer unit. The sink is a copper bowl with plug. The tap is cold water and runs off a switch . Under the sink are two water tanks, one for fresh and one for grey water.
