2013 Volkswagen crafter cr starline tdi lwb
2.0 cc, 6 gears, turbo diesel, a delight to drive and cruises on the motorways. Been used for weekend trips and a few longer trips with us, most recently to Germany this summer. We have had it serviced before any big trips and whatever the garage says need doing, we get done. Most recent MOT it had new ABS sensor, brake shoes and pads, handbrake tightened etc, we have all the receipts and paperwork for everything’s its had done, which isn’t loads to be honest, its been so reliable and we are sad to see it go due to that but we need to downsize.
– solar panels
– 2x leasure batteries
– diesel heater
– converter
– 2x gas hob
– sink
– 50 litres water storage
– fridge
– toilet
– plenty of storage throughout
– roof rack
– ladder
– sleeps 4 people
– fully insulated and sound dampened
– USB charging
– plug sockets
– 240v hook up (we have only ever used it once, the solar panels are so good that theres just no need)
– 4 seats with belts (3 in front, 1 in back)
– led lights
Viewings welcome just get in contact, our main reason for downsizing is we can’t park it at our house, it is at a friend’s down the road so we can’t do very short notice viewings as need to go and collect it.
Offers welcome.
Looking to down size – Would consider swaps.
The conversion was done by the man we bought it off who has done a few. He did a beautiful job and we have been very happy with it. We never got around to registering it as a camper with DVLA as to do so it would need a fixed table, another window and stickers on outside. It is registered and insured as light goods vehicle, insurance know it is a conversion and have no problem just say to let them know when completed and re registered.
The fixed double bed in back is 120×175, me and my partner are both 5ft7 and fit comfortably. (With the sound proofing and dark sleeping area, we sleep so well!)
The second bed is 110×170, never used it ourselves but had a friend sleep in it who informed us it was very comfortable.
Please note: Quirky Campers do not inspect the listings for accuracy or check campervans in person. We have asked sellers to provide evidence of certificates and paperwork however you MUST check yourself that the information provided is present and correct. You will need to exercise the normal due diligence when buying any vehicle.
