'Old Red' VW T5 Pop-Top

Welcome to ‘Old Red’ our VW T5 Transporter campervan. We have had it since 2019, and really enjoyed the our time with it, but we aren’t making enough use of it, so we would love to see it go to a new home. It is a 2009 (58 plate) T5 1.9. The van has covered just under 100,000 miles. It is well loved and comes with the usual extras. The paintwork is VW red, with tinted windows in the rear, with old school steel 16″ wheels for comfort and reliability. It has a fridge, sink, and double gas hob, which are all in good working order, and plenty of storage. It has a leisure battery, with electric set-up run through a power supply unit, and interior LED lighting. The pop-top roof provides one or two berths whilst also providing extra headroom. A pull out ‘rock-and roll’ bed provides two berths. There is a detachable table.
The van has been insulated, and has tinted windows to the rear, and custom made blackout curtains for comfort and privacy. Insulated internal window covers up front provide complete privacy. There are a pair of levelling wedges for added convenience.
It comes with a tow bar and electric hook-up. The passenger seat swivels for extra seating inside.
The Van has genuine 99,992 miles, and has a long MOT (January 2027) and recent service. 5-speed gearbox. It drives well, We have taken it all around the country, down to Kent and Dorset, and up to Edinburgh. It comes with a stereo unit which supports Bluetooth.
