Vauxhall Vivaro 2900 CDTi LWB (2015)
MOT until May 2026
No issues with engine.
New battery and starter motor.
New tyres.
MOT until May 26. New set of tyres, battery and alternator recently. Downside is the mileage – 179k. Timing chain changed at 136k miles. But it runs fine, no issues, it’s been looked after.
200w Renogy solar panel.
Ecoflow Delta 2 for power. On sunny days I never run out of juice. Got down to 82% once but I’m only running the fridge and lights. Portable hob drains battery quickly so I use it sparingly.
Dellonda portable fridge/freezer, running off 12 v. It’s useful to take to the beach! A more permanent one could be installed in the cupboard instead of shelves.
Porta Potti, with access from outside for emptying!
Plenty of storage.
No sink as I don’t really need it – I use a bowl. But one could easily be installed. Space under cabinet for water tanks, etc.
I use a portable hob plugged into 240v socket at the end of the cabinet – again suits my needs.
Spare wheel could be put back under the van if you get the cage. Then you would have even more storage at the rear for tools or hiking gear, etc.
Bed can be setup in less than 2 minutes. Three panels drop in to the gap between bench seat and cabinet.
Been using it for 3 years, off-grid, only had to charge powerbank from the mains once. Solar is enough to keep it at 100%.
Reluctantly selling as I’m emigrating and can’t take it with me. I wish I could!
Bench seat converts to 1m wide bed in under 2 minutes.
