Conversion Description

Conversion finished in February 2022 by a skilled carpenter of 40+years. All the woodwork is bespoke and has been handcrafted by an expert, using appropriate material to keep the weight of the van low but the quality of the finish high!

The electrical system was designed by @climbingvan using their Nomadic Energy and uses all Victron parts –
2 x 200w Renogy solar panels
Victron MPPT charge controller
Victron B2B charger hooked up to vehicle alternator
Victron 500w inverter
Victron 10amp battery charger

We had the help of our friend who is an auto-electrician when installing this. We have been off-grid in the campervan for weeks at a time, never running out of charge!

Our gas was fitted with the help of a former gas safety engineer (my dad)

The MaxxAir Fan and side windows were installed by a local company, which we have the receipts to evidence.

5kw Chinese diesel heater plumbed into vehicle fuel tank with the help of an engineer we met through our carpenter friend.

We have been very lucky to know some super skilled trades people to help with all aspects of the conversion. This coupled with our determination and 100s of hours spent on Google/YouTube has allowed us to craft and enjoy the life we once thought was just a pipe dream!
