Vehicle Description

2009 Ford Transit Mk7 100 T350L RWD
Engine 2402 CC
5 gears
MOT until August 2025
Fitted with tow bar
2 x new rear tyers fitted in May

The van has a good MOT history and been a very reliable runner and a joy to drive .

There are a few age related marks and some rust on the bottom part of the side panels but nothing major.

The windscreen needs to be resealed as there’s an ingress of water in the cab that I haven’t had time to fix.

Conversion Description

Meet “Panka”, my trusted and cherished 2009 Ford Transit campervan.

It is a medium wheelbase transit with high roof, so there’s plenty of space to space to stand up (and dance around) inside.

The van is well insulted with natural recycled wool that helps regulate moisture and also acts as sound insulation. (It is treated with a non-toxic agent to deter moth.) It is built with new and recycled timber and cosy in any weather with an efficient Windy Smithy woodburner.

The interior is simple in design with a wardrobe, several (book)shelves, large kitchen cupboard. The “L” shaped sofa can be used as a single bed (75x180cm) or extended to a double (120x180cm) – please note mattress is not included.

There is ample storage under the sofa and above the cab. Additionally there is also a ‘garage’ with a bike hook installed that is accessible from the rear.

For windows the van has an opening skylight, a tinted, opening side window and a tinted fixed rear window that provide plenty of natural light with high level of privacy. There are LED lights and a small extractor fan above the kitchen area that run off the starter battery. There is the possibility of expanding the electrical system as there is an unused 100ah leisure battery fitted, and a mains charger included in the price.

I have always used a simple camping stove for cooking (easy to take outside in good weather!) but the counter could be easily modified for a permanent fixed cooker with LPG. There is a fold down extension to the kitchen counter and a built-in sink with gravity fed water system.

There is a metal step on the outside at the rear which I originally planned to remove but then came to love as my “balcony” – with a pillow it turns into a perfect seat for a cup of tea in the sun!

A couple of things to note:

There are a few age related marks and some rust on the bottom part of the side panels but nothing major.
The windscreen needs to be resealed as there’s an ingress of water in the cab that I haven’t had time to fix.

The van has a good MOT history and been a very reliable runner and a joy to drive during the six years I’ve had it.

I’m selling it due to change in circumstances and hoping it will go to a loving new owner and on many more adventures.
