Vehicle Description

Still for sale due to time waster! Ford Transit Minibus 2007 part converted

Documents
All MOT and previous history provided as well as receipts of the items we bought such as battery / parts that needed fixing (when we initially bought it and took it to the Ford Specialist in Cheltenham to have it looked at).
Just been through the MOT and passed. Full service also done in May 2022.

The van itself:
Originally owned by Reigate Grammar School, so very well looked after and hence the low mileage of 57k! It was then bought by the previous owner for his daughter who didn’t want it, and then bought by myself. I bought the van with an ex partner and took out a loan to pay for it and now can’t afford to keep the van, do it up, use it and make the repayments by myself.

The van is 80-90% complete. The last part is for the buyer to customise by themselves. Create the style you want, with your own lightning, own storage space and style.
The van has great acceleration, really easy to drive. This is the first van I’ve ever driven and it’s so easy!

Some things to point out:
The diesel cover cap is missing,
The van has been limited so it doesn’t reach past 62mph, this can be changed if you want, however, for consumption of fuel we figured it would be best to keep as is.

This van is an incredible drive and has been well looked after. Ultimately this is what your home-on-wheels foundation is based on! You can then do the final extras that will make it your own. With the possibility of still being able to get your money back or make profit in the future.

Conversion Description

Ford Transit Minibus 2007 all ready for van life!

The interior:
It has been fully insulated with silver foil insulation on the floor and sides. The sides also have dial recycled bottle insulation. The ceiling hasn’t been properly finished for 2 reasons: 1. Time limitations, and we didn’t know the best way to do it. 2. If we did use pallets or a wooden ceiling it takes off a fair amount of height where you then might not be able to stand up in it. Again, what we have done is easy to modify and improve. And if you choose to do this, it will up the value of the van.

Kitchen
Fixed units by the window. Easy to take apart and build in a sink and cooker of your choice.
Behind the driver seat has more potential for storage and kitchen units, if you wish to form an L-shape and have utensils above. There are 2 electric sockets, which just need the buyer to pick their own style of lightning. There is a fold out table, with 2 little stools, you can have dinner and drinks at. Underneath are the electrics a well as extra storage space. There is also a fan above the kitchen for air cicurclation.
I’m able to stand up in the van at 164cm.

Electrics
Victron Energy Cyrix-Li-load 12/24v 230A Intelligent Load Relay to charge van and leisure batteries while on.
Class B leisure battery 12 way 12v fuse block.
The wiring is done in 2.5mm cable.
Vitron Connect 240v mains battery charger.
There is a fuse box, and the correct breakers do need to be installed to the 240v hookup.

Hook up comes with the van but needs to be installed. There are cables to add your own electrics, 2x in the kitchen and also underneath the bed at the back.

Bedroom
Also has its own fan/sky light. Your own storage shelves can be added in between the kitchen and the bed. As well as space for storage either side of the bed and plenty underneath. You could even add storage onto the back doors. The bed is custom made which comes with a mattress protector and 2 x fitted sheets. The bed was designed for 2 humans and a dog 😊 so it’s a decent size.

Notes:
Duvet, pillows, plants, gas hob and kettle are not included
Mileage will go up slightly as when it’s possible we will be going out and about in it.
The van is listed on multiple other sites.

This van is an incredible drive and has been well looked after. Ultimately this is what your home-on-wheels foundation is based on! You can then do the final extras that will make it your own. With the possibility of still being able to get your money back or make profit in the future.
