Internally Converted – White Ford Transit (2.4 Diesel) MK7 – 2007
Relisting! This van is up for sale again as understandably interested buyers were nervous about purchasing with the engine warning light on. We subsequently booked the van into a local garage with a recommended mechanic and had the issues resolved, costing £1,400 hence the revised price up to reflect the amount of mechanical work undertaken. We remain open to offers. I’d like to sell quickly as I’m off to Ireland at the end of the month. I lived in this van full time for a year, only selling to fund travels beyond the UK 🙂

Service History
Most recent repairs following an orange engine warning light coming on (February 2025)
– 2 bosch S4007 batteries replaced
– new auxiliary multi ribbed fan belt fitted
– new turbo charger assembly supplied and fitted
– oil and filter replaced
Initial / full (most comprehensive) 5 year / 90,000 miles vehicle service undertaken by Ford (November 2023).
Numerous recommended repairs undertaken (November 2023):
– Complete set of fuel injectors, gaskets, hoses and seals replaced.
– Rear Brake Discs and Pads x 2 (inc hub seals and ABS rings) replaced.
– Brake fluid change.
– Windscreen fluid jet washers replaced.
– Rear Shock absorbers replaced.
– Horn repaired.
– Transmission mount – bushing replaced.
– Osf – door strap replaced.
– Rocker cover gasket replaced.
– Osf – track rod replaced.
– Front lower arms replaced.
Wheel alignment and tracking adjustments (commercial dealership) January 2024
Gear linkage cable replaced June 2024.
Annual 12 months service and MOT undertaken in September 2024 which was passed. Vehicle runs and drives well.
Costs spent on above servicing and mechanical repairs – approximately £ 4,600.00.

Bodywork has some side dent damage as pictured and the right side back door has some slight gapping at the top, although the doors lock well this may need looking at at some point. To date, this is all the faults that are known about with this van. The service history is comprehensive.
This is a ready to go vehicle but with some additional bodywork skills and attention to will make a great recreational vehicle.

Items included: jump leads, wheel chocks and equipment to install a 3 pin plug.
There is a double bed horizontal at the rear end of the van, with built in storage (a deep cupboard, smaller cupboard with a pull down door, and thin shelf underneath a decent sized pull out table) underneath a custom made foam mattress on top of wooden slates, which has always been great for ventilation. There is a hammock which can be set up between 2 carabiners that hangs over the length of the van to offer a third sleeping space.
