Peugeot Boxer MWB 3L Diesel
Priced for quick sale.
I purchased this van in July for my road trip around the UK.
Can be driven on a standard drivers license.
It has served me very well. The conversion is compact and ergonomic. The engine is powerful – it gets up to speed quickly and cruises effortlessly over long distances.
3.0L Diesel – 6 gears MT – 38 MPG
At 142k Miles it received new shocks, front tires, auxiliary belt, full service, and structural analysis. There is surface rust underneath but it does not affect structural rigidity.
At 143k Miles I purchased the van. I had the engine fully flushed and re-oiled – as it had not been driven long distance over winter. Ready for my first long distance trip.
At 145k Miles the engine light came on, it needed a new starter motor and solenoid for the high pressure fuel pump.
Registered in the UK. MOT until 25th of June 2026.
I am sad to be selling. Unfortunately I do not have enough funds to bring her over to Australia.
ELECTRONICS
Fully off-grid. I can sit for multiple days with everything running as home – I use a toaster in the mornings, fridge/freezer is always running, laptop charging.
– Renogy 200Ah Lithium Ion Battery (with Bluetooth). This thing is a beast and I’ve never had it drop below 50%
– Renogy 200W Flexible Solar Panel.
– Renogy ‘Wanderer’ Charge Controller 30A (with Bluetooth). The Renogy App let’s you monitor everything incoming and outgoing.
– Split Charge Relay (alternator). 400W of charge when van is on. Charges the leisure battery very quickly. Around 10% per half hour.
– Dometic CRX low drain Fridge Freezer
– Truma Combi (E) โ Hot water and heating โ runs off gas, mains electric, or a mix of both.
– Mains Electrical hook up. (External socket) UK and EU adaptors.
– Noco Genius 5 battery charger. You can charge the leisure battery when hooked up to mains. Suitable for long periods without driving anywhere.
– LED ceiling lights, and various battery and USB powered lights included in camper accessories.
– USB 3.0, Type A and C charging. One at kitchen and one at bedside.
– 1000W invertor. I used this to run the toaster and charge my laptop.
All electrics checked and inspected by an electrician last year.
PLUMBING
When I purchased the van, I flushed the plumbing system with chlorine and now only fill up with potable water.
– 40L Fresh and dirty water tanks (under body)
– Extra 20L reserve bottle in storage.
– Thetford Chemical Cassette Toilet. External hatch for emptying. Electric flush is plumbed in.
– Shurflo 11.3Lpm Water Pump. High pressure which is great for the shower.
– Sink and shower have variable flow rates and hot/cold mixers.
– More about the Truma Combi… 10L of pre-heated water. If conservative, you can get two showers out of this. Takes 20min to heat up.
GAS
– 6kg Gas Bottle. I have used only half of this in two months. I believe it costs 32 pounds to re-fill.
– Domestic 2 burner hob with integrated sink/tap.
– The Truma Combi uses a thermostat when in heating mode. It’s very efficient on gas use.
– Carbon Monoxide Detector.
OTHER
– Fiamma awning F45I.
– 2 opening sky lights. One with fly-screen/blackout in the main area. The other is self venting and is in the shower/toilet room..
– 4 opening side windows which can open, fly-screen, and blackout.
– Wardrobe with clothes hangers. There is also the gas locker (vented to outside).
– Heater ducting. One is below the bed, one is in the shower room, the other is in the wardrobe. Great for drying boots and clothes.
– Van body is insulated with thermo liner and I believe there are also fiber-glass panels in some of the cavities.
– Storage compartments. Over cab, over bed, under bed.
– 2 bench seats and table which converts into a double bed.
– Swivel Table. Can be used next to the kitchen or sitting in bed. Quite convenient when left in bed mode.

Sleeps 2 Adults. I am over 182cm so need to sleep slightly off parallel.
I have left the conversion in ‘bed mode’ as I installed a small swivel table. There is a larger table which can be setup between the benches when in ‘living mode’. You can seat 4 people around the table.
You could sleep a third person on a camping mattress in the space under the bed. More of a pod than a bed however.
