This is βBalooβ, a newly converted L3H2 Peugeot Boxer.
The van is a 2017 model and comes with all the extras you would expect such as A/C and DAB, as well as a reversing camera. It has six gears, which makes it much more economical for long distance journeys. It is an ex General Electric fleet vehicle so has been properly maintained throughout its life and comes with 12 months MOT – ready to go on its first adventure.
The rear has been newly converted to a very high standard by a professional joiner. The design and practicalities have been well considered, and has everything you need and nothing you don’t.
The kitchen is kitted out with a double LPG hob, oven and fridge, so youβre all set for stocking up and heading off on longer adventures off the beaten track. The 60l underslung water tank will also keep you watered and washed for extended periods.
The van is very well insulated with a combination of spray insulation to prevent any condensation, and a layer of sheepβs wool to ensure you are kept warm or cool wherever you are. The LPG heater has a digital thermostat so just set your desired temperature and it will do the rest. When it’s hot outside, the two way electric roof fan can circulate cool air through the van or be used as an extractor. The windows also have tailor made insulated blinds which are reversible, reflecting the heat out on hot days or reflecting it in when you want to stay toasty.
There is plenty of storage throughout the van, and even a large space under the bed that could also be used as a dog bed. The rear storage space has a removable shelf so itβs possible to fit bikes or other large items.
The living area consists of two comfy seats and a slide out cherry wood table for dining.
The vanβs electrical system contains everything you need and is very simple to use. The leisure battery is automatically charged via the high capacity solar panel on the roof and also via the vanβs battery whilst driving. When you are in a camp site, just plug in and the battery is charged plus you can take advantage of the double socket to power items that require more power than the inverter will allow. The inverter itself is 1200w which is more than enough to run most devices including charging a laptop.
Other features include a pull out cassette toilet, a fold up worktop extension, a tow bar, and a full sized double bed so you really don’t have to compromise on comfort.
This van is ready to drive away this summer and is perfect for whatever you have in mind, be it wild camping or just setting up on a site for a few days. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a viewing.
