Peugeot Boxer L4, H2, (2016)
The van is a 2.0litre diesel (no adblue). Six speed manual transmission.
The van was owned by a trades company until 3yrs old. I bought the van in Swindon M4 van sales in 2019.
There are two marked areas on the body (one on each back door) but the paint is not broken and there has been no deterioratio in my ownership.
The van had 32000 miles when I bought it (oil changed by seller) and in my ownership it has had three oil/filter changes, one fuel filter and one air filter.
The front brakes have just been serviced. The starter battery was renewed a month ago. The wheels are stove enamelled. The MOT runs out shortly but can be easily renewed.
The vehicles appearance is very fresh and drives beautifully. Probably the most comfortable long distance vehicle I’ve driven. Whilst I’ve had the vehicle it has been from Portugal
to the scottish islands and never missed a beat. And still only 44000 miles…these engines are good for 200,000 to 300,000 miles.
This is a conversion with finishing to do. The van was purchased in 2019 with a view to converting and selling. Between Covid and other circumstances, the project was put on hold.
It is fully functional except for shower (not yet lined) and has been used on only a handful of trips.
The bulk of the mileage that I have covered has been between Scotland and Cornwall (motorway miles). I am now travelling mainly by motorbike, have lost motivation in completing
the conversion and wish to sell.
Great care has been taken with the work and all equipment is top spec, eg 3 hob cooker with oven and grill, large capacity 4E Truma combi boiler/heater. Gas bottle is stored in a sealed and vented cabinet below the kitchen sink.
The heating/hot water is digital/programmable and the hot air heating is fed to both the living space and shower/toilet room. The shower room (full size shower tray) has been constructed to be much more spacious than most with a view to offering a better level of comfort for long distance travellers…or indeed van livers! This additional room in the shower/toilet area has been achieved at the expense of living area but as can be seen in the photos there is ample room for two adults to sit in comfort at a table…and put your feet up.
Taps in both kitchen and shower room are domestic chromed mixer taps. The shower room has an opening skylight immediately above and there are a further two windows over
the sink area which allow in lots of light.
There is a 12v compressor fridge, which to be honest, I’ve never found very efficient and have always used a freeze block in it (bit disappointing at £500) but still offers good food storage as long you use a freeze block.
Ther is ample wardrobe storage for coats, boots and clothes for two adults. A ‘garage’ space exists under living area seating (see photos) sufficient for spare gas bottle and various other tools/accessories, eg 240v hook up cable (included)
Two bespoke water storage tanks (from CAK tanks UK) are underslung and provide for 70ltrs of fresh water and the capture of 40 litres of grey water.
The van has tow bar and electrics and, I may have forgotten to mention, all tyres are in excellent condition.
So there you are…perfectly usable as it is but some finishing work to be done. I’m happy to show all details at viewings and I have a host of photographs detailing the build progress, including levels of insulation which are very thorough and accounted for a lot of time in the early stages of the build.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions and chat things through.
The living area of the camper converts into a full sized double bed in a matter of a minute and comfortably allows for those of us well over 6 feet!
