Water is fed from the underslung 66 litre fresh water tank and empties into a 50 litre grey water tank beneath the vehicle. Simply turn a nozzle and drain when you need to empty the tank
10 litre Truma water heater providing boiling hot water in 20 minutes. This can be powered by LPG when off grid or 230 volt mains when on electric hook up. It also supplies hot water to the kitchen sink tap.
Good sized shower 100cm x 70cm (Aqua XL) that doubles as a toilet cubicle (Porta Potti provided).
When off grid 3X 12-volt leisure batteries provides power to the diesel heater, water pump, LED lighting and USB charge points. This is continuously charged by 2X solar panels fitted to the roof and will also charge whenever the engine is running.
An external 230-volt mains electric hook up allows you to use mains power when on site, this also charges the leisure battery.
A control panel / inline fuse box has a digital readout showing your leisure battery power as well as providing 2 x USB charging points and a 12v charging point.
LED downlights are controlled by separate touch sensitive dimmer switch.
An Eberspacher D2 Airtronic blown air diesel heater will keep the interior snug and warm in even the coldest of climates, operating in temperatures down to -40c. Heat is fed directly from the fuel tank, and we set it up to leave 15 litres of fuel in the tank to prevent accidental drainage.
To keep you snug, warm and free of condensation the camper has been fully lined with two layers of insulation. The base layer is a moisture resistant double foil aluminium bubble insulation. This is the best material for retaining heat while also preventing condensation. It sends 95% of the radiant heat back into the camper. On top of this is a layer of Rockwool insulator, which is used to reduce noise but which also has thermal and moisture resistant qualities. In the areas where the cladding ends, we line with high quality camper carpet ensuring it is always warm and cosy inside.
