Welcome to our lovely converted Ducato, which has been for hire on Quirky as Ducky.
A professional conversion by Twin Coast Campers from 2022, this van was designed with comfort in mind while retaining a relatively compact footprint. Stepping into Ducky is like stepping into a tiny home, the deep blue cabinets have been expertly paired with decorative kitchen tiles and light wood to create a homely artistic vibe. Two adults can get the dreamiest night’s sleep in a fixed double bed, with room for more in the pop top. The pop top can also be used during the day to provide you with extra headspace and an abundance of natural light.
Ducky has lots of great features such as a swivel passenger seat, which helps open up the living spaces and an LPG heater which also provides hot water ensuring you stay toasty whatever the weather. The electrics can run off the solar panel, which can keep the fridge going as long as you need it meaning Ducky is good for going off grid for a short break.

Description of Seating: The van has three belted seatbelts in the front cabin (including the driver). This does not stop it from being able to seat four comfortably in the living space if you have guests.
Description of Electrical Setup: Ducky has a 120ah leisure battery which is charged from the engine alternator or mains hook up. The van comes with a 1500W inverter with sockets inside the van’s living space and in the boot. Ducky also comes with four USB charging points within the van. The van has a solar panel, which can keep the fridge and phones charged indefinitely. The van has a 240v electric hook-up socket if you want to use a laptop for an extended period.
Cooking Equipment: Ducky has two gas hobs and a surprisingly roomy 50l electric van fridge that runs very quietly.
Water and Sanitation: Ducky has a 60l water tank that supplies water to the sink via a pump. The tank is refilled from the side of the van. The van also has an outdoor shower attachment, the water can be heated by the van’s combi heater. Ducky also has a portable Thetford toilet and a space to keep it.
Type of Heating: Ducky has a Truma combi heater which is powered by the van’s LPG tank. This means it won’t run down the van’s battery so is great for being off-grid. The heater also heats the van’s water supply if needed.
Storage space: Ducky has a large boot, using up most of the space underneath the van’s bed. There is a large cupboard under the sink in the living space and cupboards above the sink and the bed. If the toilet isn’t required it can be taken out to provide extra storage.

Ducky will sleep two adults in comfort in the fixed double bed at the rear. The bed measures 120cm by 188cm so someone up to 6ft can sleep without being cramped up. The van also has a pop top which can sleep another two adults who don’t mind it being cosy but would be perfect for a child with a sense of adventure. The pop top can also be used without the bed pulled down for extra headspace and natural light in the day.
