Mercedes Sprinter Box Van
This vehicle would make a perfect conversion.
Originally coach built for Bristol Docks to serve as a stand-by mobile X-ray unit, the vehicle was professionally fitted with an Onan 5KW generator and partitioned with an operator’s area with a 240V wiring circuit and circuit breakers as well as a full habitation air conditioning unit just like on an American RV.
It was bought by an older friend of mine a year ago who was planning to convert it to a camper but his health deteriorated and he is unable to go ahead with the work. I am able to take calls on his behalf and arrange visits where he will be happy to show you the vehicle and take care of any transactions himself.
Apart from its immaculate condition, one of the main benefits of a vehicle of this quality brand and age is that the engine is free from modern high tech computerised gadgetry and can, in the unlikely event of any issues whilst travelling, be easily fixed by any mechanic.
You’ll see from the images that it’s not even acquired enough road dust to cover the original chassis paint.
Interior is lined and partitioned for original use as described above.
Good base vehicle in great nick with a couple of very useful starting jobs taken care off to the highest possible standards.
