Quirky, colourful 'Joyce' VW T25

Meet JOYCE — a unique, art-covered T25 camper with character, colour, plus reliability.
Registered as a historic vehicle (TAX EXEMPT!), she’s a 1.9L water-cooled WBX petrol model with power steering, upgraded electrics, and a completely custom, art-led interior and exterior. MOT until May 2026. Mileage: 88,500. Two belted seats.
JOYCE’s exuberant exterior was painted in 2013 by Paris, the graffiti artist behind Coldplay’s MYLO XYLOTO album cover, with interior artwork by textile artist Rebecca Holley. Joyce is a mobile piece of art! She has reliably taken us on adventures to Ireland, along the entire length of the Wild Atlantic Way, across England and around Brittany as well as many festivals.

Reality Check
She’s 41 years old and needs light annual rust care. The custom paintwork makes full resprays impossible, so small bodywork patches need to be touched up yearly to maintain her iconic look. She is however very solid underneath. But she would benefit from being kept under solid cover over winter. She’s not a classy showroom van — she’s a rolling piece of art, and people and children in particular wave, smile, and take photos wherever she goes.
