Quirky Talbot Pilote R380

1989 Pilote R380 based on a Talbot Express. This classic motorhome comes in good condition for a vehicle of its age.

I’ve adjusted the living area to brighten it up a bit with the white Farrow & Ball paint. Other than the paint and the wooden cladding added, the interior is totally original from 1989. The habitation area is in really good condition for her age!

Aspects:
Swivel passenger seat, 4 USB points, volt meter, cigarette lighter points, touch sensitive dimmable kitchen lighting, re-sealed both skylights, fully functioning original bathroom – cassette toilet with flush & shower, toilet chemical and flush, boiler for instant hot water, comes with 2 full propane gas bottles, everything in pictures included (soft furnishings, kitchen accessories etc), all windows herzim strips replaced & re-sealed, Ariel, great little oven, gas heater (really good), plenty of storage overhead and under the seats, wardrobe & V5C reg document.

Note:
Does require a new rear exhaust (£60 online) as it has a hole in currently. Will require carb clean/fuel filter to be replaced as currently showing signs of being partly blocked, bunny hoping on the acceleration at times, mostly on hills. This is just what I suspect to be the problem, it has not been taken to a garage. 240V plug hook up currently not working. Fridge works on gas & when driving only. I’m based in Southampton.
