This is a great example of a rare 4Motion, all wheel drive T5 that has been lovingly and professionally adapted to an off-road, expedition camper by DirtyWeekenders in Worcester.
This van is everything that you want as a starting specification for a practical camper – automatic, all wheel drive, doors on both sides, barn doors at rear. It has 180 ps of power that means it performs very well on the motorway as well as off-road.
The camper has been very well thought through and had the very best parts fitted.
Exterior:
It has chunky Grabber tyres on custom black steel rims and has black side protection bars for any off-road activity. It has been fitted with full VB Air Suspension, with modes for off-road, low level entry or sport driving. It raises and lowere the van very considerably to allow for all circumstances in the town or countryside. It really can go anywhere. The same VB Air Suspension auto levels the vehicle when parked to allow for comfortable living and sleeping spce. No more trial and error driving onto chocks!
The van has protective wrap on the bonnet, a roof rack, tow bar and custom made ski/paddle rack with Thule bars on the rear.
With doors on both sides of the passenger compartment, the van can be parked easily and has loads of space for 3 seated passengers, for sitting at a table or for loadspace.
The pop-top roof is on extra powerful struts to support the rack and the solar panel.
Interior:
Full luxurious leather retrim of front and rock and roll rear bench.
Front seats both swivel to allow rear facing and dining.

Summary:
This van has taken us on some significant outdoor adventures, in places that most vans can’t reach. It is small and manouvrable on country roads but big enough to transport 5 and sleep 4 comfortably. The off-road capability is significant and we’ve never been stuck. The ability to rock up to an unspoilt and remote place, park and pop the top, use the auto level to get comfortable and be ready to enjoy the outdoors in minutes is fantastic. Its a great van.

DirtyWeekenders bought the base van and completed all the work to insulate, prpare and finish the vehicle from start to finish. They still look after the vehicle and will answer any questions on its specification and transformation.
Please note the van no longer has the decals (red, orange, yellow stripes and number 23) on the sides. I loved them but apparently not everyone will?! If they are of interest, they can be re-added!
Over £65k was spent on this van and it has only done a few years of service and not that many miles since. It really is a beaut and so no time wasters please.
A Reimo Rock and Roll bed in the main compartment sleeps 2 comfortably.
The pop top roof sleeps 2 more on a deluxe matress.
