Vauxhall Vivaro LWB Hightop
007 Vivaro 2.0L HighTop Campervan – Fully Converted, Reliable & Adventure-Ready
Hi there! I’m selling my RARE 2007 Vauxhall Vivaro HighTop LWB Campervan.
It’s been a brilliant van—super reliable, comfortable, and fun—but I need to switch to something ULEZ compliant for work in London, otherwise I’d happily keep it forever.
Buy It Now: £9,000
Barry Island, South Wales – collection only
Viewing & test drive welcome!
About the Van:
2.0L Diesel, 6-speed manual
Long Wheel Base + HighTop – VERY RARE!
Mileage: 179,500 (still in use, so will be going up slowly)
MOT up to date – 9 months left!
Fully registered as a camper!
V5 and service history included.
What’s Inside:
Rock and roll bed with seatbelts
2-burner gas hob + sink
Loads of clever storage
Swivel captain seats (passenger does a full 360°)
Fully insulated & soundproofed
New Dometic fridge/freezer (low draw – runs off-grid for days!)
Removable, foldable sliding table!
New Maxi Fan (brilliant airflow)
Modern wood paneling with strip lights
Sargent EC160 power unit upgrade
All electrics (windows, lights, wipers) work perfectly.
Tinted windows throughout.
4 brand new tyres with MOT this year.
New clutch & gearbox (fitted Feb 2025)
Performance & Fuel:
VERY efficient – around 45mpg on motorways
Starts first time, drives smoothly as it should.
No smoke, no injector issues at all – a concern for Vivaros.
Happy cruising at 60–80 mph all day.
The Quirks – PLEASE READ.
1. It’s 18 years old and not ULEZ compliant. I need a ULEZ vehicle now, unfortunately.
2. Airbag warning lights: These come on due to the sensor being moved every time I use the swivel chair! They’re reset in the MOT, only to come on again when I move the seat. I bought the van with this quirk, and it does not affect the vehicle at all.
3. Coil light appears occasionally. I’ve had this looked at, replaced, and added a new MAP sensor. It appears every 1000 miles or so, but it can be gotten rid of with a quick reset of the keys (one click back when driving). Sometimes it appears in colder weather and stays around a little longer. It is an age-related misfire and doesn’t compromise the vehicle at all. 99%of the time it never appears.
3. Some light wear and tear on the body—scuffs and a couple of tiny dents, plus a tiny amount of bubbling on the rear passenger arch—but still looks almost immaculate.
Summary:
I have maintained this van extremely well, with 2 full engine services a year!
For an 18-year-old van it’s in amazing condition, with the exception of a few tiny scuffs and a little bubbling to the paint on one wheel arch. (easily fixed)
I LOVE this van and it’s with a heavy heart that I’m selling, due to ULEZ requirements for work.
It’s super clean, very comfortable, extremely reliable, great on fuel, and is ready for adventure immediately.
I’ve kept it in great shape, and it’s ideal for road trips, festivals, or full-on vanlife.
📩 Feel free to message me with any questions or to arrange a viewing.
Thanks for looking – hope this amazing van finds a good new home!
