Well maintained van. Full and detailed service history, with invoices to match. 1.8l diesel engine with 5 speed gear box. Good mileage for age of vehicle. 2 keys. Economical on fuel. It costs around £75 to fill the tank, and can get 450-500 miles from a full tank. The van has a tow bar, with working electrics, so it is perfect for attaching a bike carrier, or towing a trailer for extra storage. It also has roof bars, so could easily add a roof tent for extra sleeping flexibility, a roof box for added storage, or even to transport a kayak for your adventures. New battery was installed before I purchased the van, and I had the cam belt done shortly after I purchased the van back in early 2022. Original engine, but had all 4 injectors replaced at the end of 2022. As part of the annual service last year, I had the wheels balanced and tracking sorted, as well as 2 new front tyres. The van has just had a service and MOT, valid until June 2026. The rear brake pads were replaced, and 2 new tyres put on the back. The bodywork and interior are in good condition. Paintwork looks smart, and no signs of rust. The rear bumper is missing a section of plastic. I have the piece, just haven’t had it fitted back on yet. The bumper is absolutely sound, just alters the aesthetic appearance of the van. The van also has air conditioning and parking sensors. Always starts immediately, and is very smooth to drive. A really solid van that has been looked after, and a real workhorse. Only reason for sale is due to moving overseas for work.

Reluctant sale of my beloved van due to moving overseas for work. Self conversion. I converted this van with the intention of it being suitable for anything from weekends away to longer road trips, or even short term living. As a single woman, I didn’t need a double bed, so prioritised storage space and the ability to be self contained. You can use this van in any weather, just shut the doors to block out the wind and rain, and you’ll still be able to cook and sleep with ease. There isn’t a ceiling fan, but I added guards over the front windows, so you can leave them slightly open for ventilation. If this isn’t comfortable however, there is also an awning included that you can put over the rear doors that will keep the rain out whilst still having fresh air.

With that in mind, here is how I went about the conversion. I purchased the van semi ply lined, but stripped it back to the bare metal so that I could sound proof and insulate it. I used a kit from Combe Valley Campers to do this. I then replaced the ply lining on the walls, and also covered the floor with thick ply board. I used tongue and groove to line the ceiling, and varnished it for a better finish. At this stage, I took the van to a garage that specialise in bespoke camper conversions, Back2Back Campers in Kent. They fitted the electrics for me. I had a leisure battery installed with a smart relay split charge system, so the battery charges when you drive. This leisure battery then powers the two spotlights in the roof, as well as the reading lamp on the wall. It also powers the usb charge ports, and 12v port. There is a 4 way control pad on the wall for managing all of this. The battery is all beautifully hidden under a carpeted box behind the passenger seat, so you don’t even know it’s there. After electrics, I fitted the bed, with under-bed storage, as well as a kitchen unit. I also built a cupboard above the cab to create a large storage area in that space. For a nice finish, I painted much of the wood, but left certain details with a natural wood finish for aesthetics. I have included photos of the whole conversion process so you see how it’s all put together. Simple, functional, and easy to keep clean and maintain was what I was going for. It’s a relatively blank canvas, so would be very easy to personalise with decoration, and put your own spin on it!

The van has been in regular use in the 3 years I have owned it, and it’s been an absolute dream. Super reliable, economical to maintain, a good size for driving on narrow roads or parking in tight places, and doesn’t rely on electric hook up, so somewhere to park up for the night is all you need. I have used it for many adventures in the UK, most recently, a 7 week trip around Scotland. Other than not having a self contained toilet (although this could be doable with some rearranging), I found it to do everything I needed, and didn’t feel cramped. If you just want to get out there, whether this is the first step on your vanlife journey, or you want a reliable and easy solo set-up, this van is for you! It’s ready to just hit the road!

Beds Description

Currently a single berth van, but could easily be adapted to make a wider bed or could add a roof tent for more flexibility. Bed is 180cm long, and 65cm wide. Has a tri-fold cushion as the base mattress, then a duvalay topper for added comfort. I used a sleeping bag, but could easily have a single duvet for added cosiness. The bed also has plenty of storage underneath, storage boxes shown in photos are included.
