An honest advert for an honest van.
For sale is my lovely Missy. She’s an honest reliable van, built for full time living and practicality with a Scandinavian cabin feel. I lived in Missy full time for 8 months, during which I toured the UK working at festivals and also did a 4000 miles trip round Europe and she honestly never missed a beat.
I bought this van in Jan 2024 when it had just finished life as a council minibus and then did the conversion with the electrics and heating being installed professionally. As an ex-council minibus the van had been maintained very well all its life with 6 monthly services.
I am sadly now selling as I have temporarily left full time van life but have also bought a larger version as we now need to fit 2 people and 2 dogs on an overland trip to the far east in the not too distant future.
It is mechanically sound with a low mileage of 98700 for the age. 6 speed manual gearbox. New auxiliary belt and power steering motor was fitted in June 24, new battery and starter motor in September 24 and cam belt and new front tyres along with a full service in November.
MOT is valid until November 2025 and passed with only 2 advisories.

– 1 ring gas hob with 11kg gas bottle in under counter store with a gas safety drop hole

– 3 windows either side with the middle ones blacked out and the other 4 with handmade blackout curtains.

She is unfortunately starting to show her age a bit on the bodywork with a few rust spots coming through and there are some dents to the lower section so the bodywork would benefit from a bit of TLC.
The right rear door is also bowing slightly due to the weight of the spare wheel. I had planned on changing the door and adding a different bracket to hold the spare wheel but I just never found the time.
It is limited to 60mph from its life as a minibus but this could be removed, I just never saw the need.
It was weighed fully loaded at 3.26 tonnes and this was including 200kg of market stall equipment, full water tank and full fuel tank.
She is ready to move into with just a few bits to tinker with and have got so many more adventures in her.
I’m looking for a quick sale as I haven’t got space to keep her.
