Renault Master DCI 125
Campervan conversion project – most of the way complete
Van is on around 226k miles, has fresh MOT valid until 16/09/26 and advisories rectified other than n/s indicator cover
I’ve owned the van for four years and it hasn’t missed a beat through several trips to Europe as well as daily commutes (mostly motorway miles). The only time it’s let me down has been a flat main battery which I replaced around two years ago. Other than that it’s had oil and filter changes every year and kept otherwise well maintained.
It’s also just had a thorough service and health check at garage and then with an auto electrician with anything that came up repaired such as new EGR sensor and codes looked into, rectified and cleared, brakes done and adjustments made to keep it running as it should. There’s still plenty of tread on the tyres and bodywork is in generally good condition with a few minor dents and scuffs.
Inside it has double layered and partitioned insulation on roof and walls (reflectex style) with sound deadening behind and dodo sound deadening insulation on floor and wheel arches/ The ride is a lot quieter and manages cold/heat really well – I’ve lived in it for a period of time in the middle of winter and didn’t suffer at all. It’s also comfortable in the summer with the amount of insulation and extractor fan to manage the heat.
– Fiamma electric ventilation fan in roof with both extract and induction setting with thermostat
– Chinese Diesel heater installed (currently not hooked up to electric or diesel as was planning to reroute through to vans fuel tank but never got round to it. Was in perfect working order last time I used it)
– Large leisure battery and fuse box installed with split charge system to charge – I’ve never ran out of power with it even during periods of living in it whilst travelling (using to charge devices, lights, diesel heater and extractor fan.)
– All of the furniture and fittings inside have also been over-engineered and have held perfectly over the years. It also has a gorgeous iroko worktop spanning the L shape behind the cab with plenty of space to install a sink and hob if desired.
The only problem with the van itself is the sliding door handle pops out if not used correctly and it’s missing the spare wheel. I’ve also got a towbar for it if desired.
Selling due to buying a Luton for some more extensive travel, will be sad to see it go!
Roughly a double, comfortably sleeps two adults and comes apart to form a seating area
