Restoration of Vehicle (2023 – 2024)
The current owner purchased the vehicle in August 2023 and has since taken a proactive approach to its mechanical maintenance. This includes regular servicing and the replacement of key components such as toothed belts, a stainless-steel exhaust, rear coil springs, shocks, wishbone arms, and the thermostat. Over the past 12 months, the vehicle has covered approximately 9,000 miles, including a 2,000-mile road trip across mainland Europe, all without any mechanical issues.
The van’s exterior has been expertly restored by VW Campervan specialists, featuring a retro 1970s design and color scheme that adds to its charm.
The owner, a skilled cabinet maker, has hand-crafted a bespoke campervan interior, complete with custom-built cabinets, a heavy-duty pull-out drawer kitchen, a 12V fridge, and an interior sink and hob. Additionally, both 12V and 240V electrical systems were installed by a professional auto electrician.
No expense was spared in this vehicle’s extensive restoration, ensuring both quality and style.

Main Bed: As seen in the photos, sleeps two comfortably. Good quality, bespoke cushions. W: 116cm x L: 182cm
Pop Top: Sleeps 2 children or 1 adult
Additional Bed: It is also possible to make an additional bed by folding the bench seat, swivelling the driver seat and adding a camping mat. We have done this for our 10 year old so that our children each have their own space (and get to sleep more easily).
Please note: Quirky Campers do not inspect the listings for accuracy or check campervans in person. We have asked sellers to provide evidence of certificates and paperwork however you MUST check yourself that the information provided is present and correct. You will need to exercise the normal due diligence when buying any vehicle.
