Rory - The Beautiful Psychedelic Mercedes Vito

Rory, with his gloriously colourful interior and exterior, is an absolute design treat. This campervan has been lovingly converted using reclaimed wood and locally sourced materials into the perfect compact camper van for epic off-grid holidays and adventures. Rory has been really well laid out to provide a kitchen with a 2-burner hob, a cool box fridge, and running water. Rory has also recently been fitted with a gas heater to keep you warm and toasty through the winter season. He has loads of storage under the bed, as well as one massive side storage unit.

On the driver’s side is storage for 10 litre water and 10 litre waste water as well as a cooler box. Both sides of the van open, which makes filling the water, and disposing of waste very easy, although this can be done from inside also. The gas cylinder is found below the stove in a safe steel box and is used for the cooker and recently installed heater, Both the stove and heater were professionally installed. The kitchen has a spacious storage draw which slides out from below the seating. The large drawer is divided into sections making it very easy to locate various dishes and utensils.

Beside the bed is a cupboard door to access the top shelf of the main storage cupboard. This can also be accessed from the rear. Also from the rear you can easily access the lower section of storage as well as the rear under-bed storage.

The cab has 2 belted seats and an easy walkway to the rear of the van. The leisure battery is located under the neat wooden panelling between the front seats. The leisure battery powers the gas heater, LED lights, USB charging, and water pump.

All windows have colourful curtains which run on brass rails. They have small magnets sewn into them so when closed can be attached to the body of the van, making it private and cosy. Also included is a windshield cover which fits over the doors and windscreen creating a blackout effect.
