Good spec for her age, she has sat Nav parking sensors phone connection cab AC, electric windows and mirrors, heater rear windows etc As a she was mini van/ WAV she has never been a dirty work van, she has factory fitted Erberspacher diesel heating to rear, factory fit all round windows with dark tint, rear aircon unit ( not currently used)
6 speed smooth manual gears, new front tyres, MOT end of april.

Conversion Description

We purchased the van in 2024 to replace our caravan so we could still get away on the weekends for camping and paddling. The vans 2nd keeper had already removed the wheel chair ramp and seating from rear leaving just the 3 belted front seats and the tracks, lining and aircon in the rear. From this blank space we have kitted out the camper to make her our literal camping storage shed on wheels ready to travel, that felt comfy and cosy too.
After checking the floor, we left the rails and carpet to help with fixings and avoid drilling the floor we then added extra insulation and vinyl flooring.
Rose had extra recycled bottle insulation added to walls and foam boards in the ceiling before factory pannels reattached, and wood veneer acoustic panels added to improve sound and look. This really helped with keeping it quieter but also with making the internal temp more consitent it is cooler in summer and cosy in the winter.
We added 3 ikea bed rails and wooden slats, that can be lifted out if you need to. With a very comfy memory foam matress ( 18 months old and alwats had a protective topper on. This sits accross the back doors which can be locked and opened manually from inside which is reassuing on some stops. It is protected from rain by its own curtain so you can still access the storage garage in bad weather , ill come back to that in a mo.
The side sofa has storage underneath for the new ( never used) portable toilet in one cubby, a pull out shelf we used for our Alpicool fridge (not included but highly recomended ) and another storage cube. Above this we have a window storage box and wall shelves perfect for niknacs, suncream and keys etc.
Opposite this near the side door we have the ‘Kitchen cupboard’ with 2 shelves its a huge space going back under the bed accomodating all our pots and pans, food etc, storage for utensils, mug and wine glass racks and a handy worktop space.
We have a portable stove and have always prefered to cook and washup outside so have never installed gas or sink, even in the caravan it felt wierd like cooking in the bedroom except for making coffee but you could change this set up easily.
We did purchase a prewired mains 240v electric kit so no need to worry about dodgy wiring it all clips together and can be extended , she has a discrete external connextion , a fuse board and double plug socket plus usb ports in the rear and although she has fitted rear lighting we also added rechargable led to roof and by the sofa/bed for when we are just stopping over and not using hookup.
The front cab has 3 belted seats, the middle one folds down to form a kind of table very handy space, we had plans to swap the twin passenger for a swivel base but have done it but think it would be a great addition. New custom front carpet purchssed too.
We added deflectors to the windows so the noise is reduced and the windows can be left open a fair bit with out the rain coming in.
Great in the summer or if you have a little one sleeping on the inflatable front bed (yes you can have that too and potentially sleep a 4th person ( ideally short adult/teen or child).
The front has custom made thermal blackout blinds that can keep heat in or be reversed to reflect the sun. Great buy! It also has a full width blackout curtain to provide seperation for kids or make the back feel cosy. Lots of overhesd space and the usual lockers etc.
The rear windows are all factory fitted with a dark tint so people cant see in and it stays cooler , we intended to buy extra thermal blinds but actually loved our homemade ones so much we kept them instead.
If all the blinds are up it is very dark and cosy ideal for summer mornings or stealth camping.
The rear garage area can be access from the middle or the back , with dividers for curver boxes, folding chairs etc its huge, we have just removed 6 folding chairs, 4 tables, 2 paddle boards bouyancy aids, 2 curver boxes , large cadac and gas bottle , water containers etc it really is a tardis! Because it is a master it akready had a decent load capacity but we tried to used light weight materials, and so much weight was removed previously had wheel chair ramp and rear chairs etc it has loads of capacity.

On the roof last year we added a comercial 3 bar roof rack so we could transport kayaks instead of sliding them in the back of the van. It could be used for anything really possibly a roof tent?
Body work is good given her age she has her fair share of dinks and scratches but overall she looks good for her age ( she is 14).
Rose drives really well and we loved that she fits in a normal parking space, can be worked on or mot at a xar garage as only gvw 2800. She is easy to drive not heavy and the seat and steering wheel easily adjust so even those like me with short legs can drive confortably with great visability. She has lots of extras for age like phone connection a great sat nav, elec windows and mirrors and parking sensors but genuinely visability is so good you wont need them.
We are not professionals she was made for us as a family to enjoy so you can make her your own, but to help you decide if rose will take you on your next adventure here are her flaws.. she has a few dinks but nothing major, her grey/blue paint still looks fab, she ahs had new front tyres but will need the back probably next year , the air con is loud when on full blast but works, the drivers seat is tired and worn and could do with a cover and the rear view mirror is weirdly foggy just around the edges, the rear light casing is cracked and taped. Also full disclosure like many vans (or so im told) she is moody at times and has flashed the occasional warning light. This has happend to us 3 times, the first happened when we were away on the isle of white so I panicked and managed to get her seen by the commercial renault repair garage there, she looked very lost next to the big lorries but they ran diagnositics spent over an hour poking and prodding, drove her very fast up some big hills and prodded some more before concluding she was fine, all major parts including turbo were fine, perhaps an oversensitive sensor (common they said) or lose hose ?? Anyway they sent us on our way, the light went out and all was well. Since then it has returned twice and each time gone off just as mysteriosly by the next trip. Local garage cant find it either but agreed it might be a hose losing pressure somewhere or linked to when she has been idle for a while? It has never affected how she drives and seems to clear itself so we havent worried about it too much. But if you have a little knowldge, the time and know where to look im told it shouldnt be hard justs need someone with the time to hunt for it instead of paying a garage a by the hour. Dont let that quirk of character put you off , she genuinely drives so well you forget she is a van, starts first time , gears are smooth and idles well which is how I judge all vehicles. we have loved traveling around the uk and now plan to buy a motor home to travel longer and explorer a little further. If you have any questions or want to view please ask, we want to see her go on to new adventures.
She will be sold with lots of extras for the right price, incuding rechargable lights almost new folding table, electic cable, gazebo with mesg sides to cook in or store chairs etc, some pots and pans a new door mat, 18mth old memory foam mattress thats always been covered by a topper, a fly screen for the side door with door access, and a grey shelter you can fix to the roof rack and stretch out using poles to provide shelter from the sun or rain from either door and im sure ill add more as we sort out what we want for the motor home. She just needs a new owner.
She has never been in an açcident , is hpi clear and had lots of love and care when she was a motability vehicle she wanted fir nothing. Comes with 2 full remote keys and v5 is present and ready for a new keeper.
Rose is advertised on other popular selling sites, so may be wirhdrawn, any buyer will need to collect, you can drive her away once payment is cleared via bank transfer please.
