Conversion Description

Our beautiful handcrafted camper van conversion “Sahara” is looking for a new loving adventurous home. Newly converted last year, this stealth off grid camper is our third van conversion and has been designed with the outdoors in mind, whether that be travel with sports equipment or with a large dog, there is space, storage and comfort for all. Professional attention to detail, hand selected products, quality finishes and touches throughout including a slatted ceiling, vintage solid wood wardrobe doors, brass features and flip up worktop.

It is in great condition, high spec, ‘tried and tested’ having been used by us for the past year on a few trips, it’s now ready for a new chapter.

All the comforts of home. We are looking for offers in the region of £22,250 ONO, and we welcome people to come, view and ask questions.

Electrics:
– Reverse camera and monitor with an on / off switch for easy reversing, stress free on holiday!
– 2x 110amp Xtreme AGM batteries – located in a built in compartment in the garage area.

There are 3 ways to ‘in put’ energy/electicity to ensure a fully off grid electrical system:
– Solar:
1x 200w Renogy monocrystalline solar panel is mounted on the roof, it is connected firstly to a double pole isolator switch so that it can be turned off, this then leads to the Epever MPPT solar charge controller which then links to the batteries, as well as an MP50 to monitor your solar charge.
– Battery to Battery:
We installed a Renogy DC- DC charger of 20 amp so that when the van is running the batteries are getting charged.
– Mains hook up:
The final way to charge the batteries is through the mains hook up inlet mounted externally. This enables you to easily hook up at any campsite or domestic outlet, and the Victorn Energy Blue Smart charger, 30amp uses mains power to charge the batteries.

A 12 way fuse board powers:

– 1 Fiamma Turbo Premium Vent 40 located in the front living area, with push and pull air function creates circulating air, cooling the van.

– Compressor fridge /freezer

– 3x double USB ports spread out around the interior

– Shurflo Trail King 7 Water Pump, filter and expansion tank

– 4 LED lights spread across the ceiling of the van

– 2 individually controlled Reading Lights, next to the bed for easy access.
– Digital battery indicator, this displays battery charge and voltage

There is a main shut off switch which turns off the complete system immediately, easy to use and safe.

Plumbing:

– 55L Underslung fresh water tank with isolators and drain valve
– water filter for pump
– Shurflo Trail king 7 water pump
– Fiamma A20 expansion tank
– 40L Underslung grey water tank – with accessible drain valve.
– Rear shower – with a long range, great for washing off muddy dogs, sandy feet and wetsuits after an active day out.

Kitchen:
Handcrafted customised kitchen in order to utilise all the space wisely.

– Solid oak worktop – sanded and oiled
– White integrated porcelain sink
– Brass kitchen tap
– Compressor fridge/freezer
– Double gas hob – LPG safe fill tank and vent stored below in a cupboard
– Push close draws
– Bespoke can/tin drawers
– Turquoise tiles
– accessorised with brass fixtures throughout.

Living area/ Bedroom:

U shaped bench seats made from 4 inch memory foam and detachable solid oak dining table, create a spacious entertaining area. This is then easily transformed to become a large double bed. It’s so easy to do and takes no time at all.

Storage:

“Sahara” has been purposefully designed with generous and flexible storage space for life off the beaten track!
– The kitchen has ample space for food, kitchen accessories, and bespoke can drawers.
– There is a large storage space above the cab for coats.
– 5 over head custom built cupboards on drivers side, with self holding hinges and closures.
– A wardrobe including more draws and a pull out toilet. These bespoke wardrobe doors providing privacy in a small area, when the toilet is pulled out.
– A cupboard below the dining table has been installed for shoe storage.
– The benches giving access to the garage also provides extra versatile space, under one bench is a designated storage space and the other side houses all the electrical system. Either area can be accessed from the back or internally by flipping up the seats.

Insulation:
– The van is fully insulated
– Sound deadened throughout with Dodo Sound Deadening.

Double bench seat at the front, comes with a swivel base which you can install, we removed it as preferred it with out it in. Would be easy enough to install a bunk bed at the back above the bed for a child if needed. Or could switch the double seat for a single swivel providing seamless access from the front cab to the back if preferred.

We have enjoyed trips to Europe, and within the UK to Pembrokeshire, Devon and Cornwall, it drives perfectly and has latches on all cupboards/and drawers for transit mode so nothing comes flying out. We have also included a bolt on the rear doors too increase security.

Sahara is ready for life on the road, full time or part time living and is now just looking for its forever home!
When purchasing our camper you will get these items included:
– Portable toilet, and cleaner fluids
– Safefill 7kg LPG tank
– Front cab reflective screen covers
– mains charger cable
– double swivel base unit

More detailed photos are available on request and we welcome any questions drop us an email or give us a call.

Beds Description

“Sahara” has a flexi double bed fitted at the rear of the van, this can be then easily converted into a u shaped dining area. There are two stylish bedside lights both with usb plugs. We have used a thick memory foam mattress for comfort.

Currently sleeps 2, but would be easy enough to install a bunk bed at the back above the bed for a child if needed. Can discuss this at viewing.
