Vehicle Description

2011 Ford transit – Thesassycamper (Instagram)

Hey I’m selling ‘Sassy’ my converted off grid 2011 2.2 Ford transit – she has done 201,402 miles, but had a reconditioned engine installed in April 2022 which has done 6000 miles since then.
MOT November 23
2.9M tall (including top box)
Inside 5.5ft
£12,000 ONO

She has been lovingly and correctly converted, with no expense spaired especially with regards to the stuff you can’t see!

There are:
-4 layers of insulation including sound deadening, Dodo superliner, fleece and foil. (Walls/floor and ceiling)
-Vanpimps tinted windows with one opening
-Thule deadlocks back and side door.
-Reversing camera with touch screen stereo & bluetooth.
-200w German solar panel, 2 x110ah Leisure batteries, solar charge controller and remote meter with electric control panel.
-Split charge relay kit
-Led spot lights throughout.
-300w portable inverter.
-Branded ‘Thesassycamper’ footwell carpets.
-Fluffy cow seat covers (optional)
-Diesel heater which is super efficient and keeps the van nice and warm even in the Alps!
-12v fan above the bed which takes air in and out, it kept me cool in the summer even in 35 degree heat and it’s also great when cooking.
-Water pump system, cold water only but has the pipe to add hot water if required.
-Carbon monoxide alarm.
-Fire extinguisher.
-CampingGaz hob and oven with gas storage locker which holds a 4.5kg butane bottle or 2.85kg camping-gaz bottle plus adapters for both.
-12v cool box or has a space on the control panel for a larger fridge.
-All terrain tyres which were new beginning of 2022. Brilliant when off grid.
-Roof rack with side ladder and sun decking on top of the van along with a roof box which is perfect length for skis & snowboards.
-Bike rack on the back doors where the bikes stand upright (see pictures).
-Extra diesel Jerry can fitted to the back doors.
-Loads of storage under the bed which is accessed by the back doors, this is also where the batteries and electrics are positioned.
-Wolfwise toilet tent.
-Thetford 145 chemical toilet (optional) with built in space under the bed which then pulls out.
-Inside has been converted with T&G wood and the counter is reclaimed wood that’s been burnt and sealed.
-Passenger Swivel seat and fold up table.
-Tv with integrated DVD opposite the bed.
-Carpeted wardrobe storage above the cab with curtains.
-Permanent bed at the back and macramé curtains on the back doors also storage nets.
-Lots of cupboards for storage and 1 draw for cutlery.
-Shoe storage above the door with coat hooks.
-Fairy lights fitted around the edge.

The reason I am selling is that I want something bigger, I’ve lived in sassy for a nearly 2 years so she has been my home as well as my transport, we have travelled all over, up to Scotland and down to the French alps and back! She’s a great little van and I’ve had some great adventures with her so looking for her to go to someone that’s going to love her as much as I do!

I’ve got loads of photos of the full conversion, if you’d like to see anymore just ask or have a look on my Instagram ‘thesassycamper’ 🚐
