Scandi Ford Transit 2016 L2H2 MWB Off Grid Super Cosy

Immaculate condition 2016 L2H2 MWB Ford Transit. There’s just under 112k miles on the clock and she has a full service history with only 2 previous owners. I have also maintained the vehicle regularly and I have full history and receipts for all work done since the conversion in 2021.

Deciding to sell her has been a tough decision but we’re ready for our next adventure heading off to backpack in Asia! So we are looking for a quick sale and that means we open to sensible offers.

This is a fully off grid vehicle and has been put to the test on all our travels in Scotland and through Europe, most recently 10 weeks in France, Switzerland and Spain. The solar panels mean that in the summer there’s often more power than you can use, and the 57 litres, heated water tank is more than enough for dishes and showers for 2 for at least a week at a time if you’re being frugal.

With the curtains drawn, thermal blinds up, LEDs dimmed and the diesel heater on, even the most blustery Scottish winter nights feel cosy and hygge. The open, airy and minimal Scandinavian inspired interior helps keep that cosy, calming feeling on the coldest of nights but also keeps it nice cool during the summer when the doors are open (fly screen included) and the ceiling fan is on.

The build was professionally done by SJ Campers and they are very responsive to questions if you want to move, upgrade, change anything in the build set up. Full solar-battery set up with two burner stove, water heater for sink and shower and a diesel heater. Full size double bed with foam mattress and huge garage space underneath. Also to note the chassis is in great condition and has many years of life in it.

It’s been a difficult decision to sell but it’s time for us to pack up and head abroad for warmer climates. Thus, we have a full range of “extras” also for sale to make this the full off grid adventure ready package (moon lounge chairs, outdoor table, rug, lantern, portable toilet, hammock, paddle board, etc.) Letting her go will be tough but we’re ready for our new adventure to start asap so we are open to sensible offers and really just want the new owners to get to enjoy vanlife as much as we have these past few years.
