Conversion Story: Clemmie began life as a Bang & Olufsen delivery van, he’s a well equipped VW crafter with Air Con for those hot summer days, a 10” touchscreen display with Google maps sat nav and a reversing camera to help you navigate him on your road trip. Under the bonnet he has a strong 2.5 Tdi engine with 140BHP which is perfect for pulling you up and down winding passes on your road trip. We bought him after a long and careful hunt for the right base vehicle with the correct specifications, to ensure he has the amenities we want when on long road trips. Clemmie was converted in 2020-2021 by his owners Laura and Oli in Leicestershire, inspired by their love of Scandi design and natural materials (and a healthy dose of Pinterest). His units are built in birch ply with end-grain detailing, solid inset slab style cabinet doors and a vibrant colour-scheme to create a cosy and welcoming interior, as well as modern luxuries such as a diesel heater.
