Selling Van!
Selling my beloved van Spud after living in them for a year through the pandemic. The pandemic meant that I wasnβt able to do my driving test, so I lived in the van full time but had friends go on adventures with me, hence I havenβt added a huge amount of mileage from when I bought it. In our adventures we havenβt had any issues, Spud drives very nicely.
I have now bought a narrowboat and sadly need to sell Spud.
Kitchen:
– Smev Dometic sink and hob unit which has heat resistant glass lid that folds down for extra kitchen counter space. The hob has a safety ignition system.
– Whale foot-pump for tap which is great for controlling use of water and doesnβt use any electricity
– Brand new solid oak kitchen worktop
– Full 3.9 kg propane Calor gas bottle

Wet Room:
– Cubicle with shower tray and drainage
Bedroom:
– Small double bed (length of bed fine for me, Iβm 5ft7β) Iβve had 6ft friends come visit me and be able to stand straight in van.
– Ample storage under the bed (shelves)
Electrics:
– 2 solar panels for a 12v system
– Inverter and four 240watts plugs in the bed area
– Mains hookup and cable
– LED lights through-out van running off the 12v system
Heating / Ventilation:
– 2kW Wendy Windy Smithy Wood burner stove β Has kept me very warm even in -5 degrees weather
– Fully insulated
– Roof vent
Safety:
– Fire extinguisher and blanket
Engine / Mileage:
– Milage: 139,595
– Failed MOT last July, got welding and offside front wheel bearings changed and then passed without any advisories
– MOT until August 2023
Quirks
– Towbar β working but needs slightly repair to electrical component. If buyer doesnβt require I can take the towbar off.
– Previous people replaced the driver side electronic glass opener with winding down handle.
– Dent on sliding door, been there since I bought Spud and is just cosmetic.
Door Locking:
– Central locking system β Driver door will unlock all doors at once, passenger door outside keyhole doesnβt work but can be unlocked from inside or with central locking system through driver door.
– Back doors β working
– Side door β separate lock and key set, can be locked from inside with lock pull pin.
Bedroom:
– Small double bed (length of bed fine for me, Iβm 5ft7β), regular width of double bed.
