The van starts, drives, and runs beautifully. Sprinters are sought after for the longevity of their engines and I searched for a decent van with a quality conversion. My service report declared it a great van with a relatively low mileage for its age and I was told by the vendor it was an ex-bread delivery van, so the load it was subjected to was a very light one compared to many of these commercial vans. I understand they can run for 300,000 miles (or more) with continued good maintenance and this van comes with a full service history to confirm it has had that for its life-span. I am looking to sell to release some equity and have recently dropped the price (again) to help achieve this goal. It is a lovely van that will serve its owner well on many happy excursions. It truly is a van for all seasons and will be a huge asset to anyone lucky enough to own it through winter into 2022.

Conversion Description

Tastefully decorated in contemporary neutral tones and newly converted this year, this van has been designed for off-grid camping. Fitted with new tyres, brakes and brake pads (covered less than 1,000 miles since replacement), the van was fully insulated before being converted (with a video available documenting the build process) and click vinyl rubber backed wooden flooring fitted (regarded as more durable, insulating and waterproof than laminate). The cabin is extremely neat with tidy seats and fully functioning controls. German engineering ensures an effective climate controlled cabin.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions that aren’t answered by the description. I have tried to be as clear as possible which matters to me as a private seller where you don’t have the benefit of a trader’s warranties and have to contemplate a journey to view it. Using the Quirky Campers website I feel rather duty-bound to offer as much transparency as possible as it is a lovely reliable resource which I personally rely on. It is such a sweet van that the photos don’t do it full justice. I am also very happy to offer a video walk-around if you would like one so please do get in touch. Many thanks for reading this far! 🙂

Beds Description

BED AREA:
Full width double bed with custom made luxury memory foam mattress (tall people take note: the length is 168m (or 5ft 6in) but offers more length if lying diagonally
Two porthole windows with opening catches in the back doors (positioned high to ensure privacy from outside)
Quality fitted overhead cupboards fitted with soft close hinges and brackets to keep them open when in use
Projector has been fitted (not yet used) powered by either a battery pack or USB to connect to a phone or laptop
To accommodate three berths, we have used a traditional Thai roll-up mattress which slots neatly in the floor space for an extra bed that can accommodate someone up to 168cm (or 5ft 6in) – happy to discuss how this works if you needed an extra berth. We were after a van with a fixed bed, suitable for an adult and two children, and it fits the bill perfectly with this solution! Alternatively, the floor space could easily take a travel cot or dog bed(s).
