Sadly the time has come for us to sell our beloved van, Sonny. With an expanding family, we now need something different to accommodate us all. We have lovingly built this van over the past few years and whilst we have tried to include as much detail within the description, we are sure we will have missed something so please feel free to ask any questions.

Sonny is the perfect off grid camper, great for exploring and for long trips away. We have fitted x 2 142 AH batteries that are charged via the split charger or the 200W solar panels, all conveniently controlled via the automatic CTEK DS250A. For colder evenings, there is a 5KW diesel heater that runs from a 10l tank in the garage area. We have found that 10l is enough to last 10 days if using everyday. Sonny has a 70l fresh water supply, fitted in an underslung tank, this feeds the tap in the kitchen, the additional filtered water tap and the shower. To heat the water, there is a 8l per minute LPG self igniting boiler. For waste water, there is a 20l waste tank under the sink. There are 2 Fiamma fans fitted, one in the shower room and one in the main living area, these are to allow optimum air flow.

The beautiful kitchen area is spacious and functions well, it has oak wood worktops, a belfast style sink and hand crafted shaker style doors. There is plenty of storage for food and cooking utensils. The kitchen area also has a fitted LPG oven with 2 ring hob, perfect for cooking meals. There is also a Dometic 45l fridge with small freezer compartment, which provides ample room when storing food for longer trips.

The shower area is spacious and clean, with PVC cladding on the walls and a fitted shower head. There is also a fitted Telford cartridge toilet, that can be emptied from outside the van, so no need to risk any unpleasant smells through the van!

The living area includes a double and single bench seat, with cushions made from foam and covered in a velvet fabric. Seating area includes under bench storage and a concealed table for maximum living area. There is one side opening window, one fixed side window and 2 back windows in Sonny, allowing lots of natural light to flow through. Each window is also fitted with a curtain for when you want a lay in.

The bedroom consists of a fixed double bed, slightly shortened with side and overhead storage down one side. The mattress is memory foam and very comfortable and there is plenty of room for storing clothes and personal belongings. There is LED strip lighting under the cupboards which can be controlled via remote control, so no need to get up and turn the light off once in bed! There are also copper wire fairy lights fitted above the bed area, which can be turned on/off via a switch by the bedside.

The garage area of the van has ample storage, it currently houses our drive away awning and 2 pushbikes, with plenty of room for more such as camp chairs etc.
