The exterior is in amazing condition and has had no bodywork done in the past. A lovely example!
For sale, is our beautifully converted Peugeot Boxer. The van was professionally converted by ourselves at Shelta Campers back in early 2021 and has been my personal van and best friend since.
It is the most solid van I have owned, and is in excellent condition, with no bodywork ever taken place. Being such an honest and well looked after example, we’re confident it will be just as solid and beautiful for many years to come! It’s a goodun.
The cabinets have been handcrafted by Shelta’s carpenter extraordinaire (AKA Dad) who has over 30 years experience. They have been constructed with lightweight ply and solid wood frames to help keep the weight down and ensure maximum durability. The inside condition of the camper is excellent, and the design is always a head turner when we’re out and about. The idea of the layout was to keep it as open and spacious as possible. The large skylight over the living area ensures the van is flooded with natural light and great opportunities to stargaze and admire mountains and waterfalls from the comfort of your bed. There is a smaller skylight at the front which helps with ventilation and again, lets in a nice amount of natural light.
With 200ah of lithium batteries, large 380w solar and engine charging, the van is more than capable of running off of its own electricity in a carefree manner. This allows you to tootle around exploring in a carefree manner, without having to worry about electricity. If you do require some high powered luxuries, it does also have a 240v hookup option. When off grid, a small inverter has been fitted which is perfect for charging laptops and electric bikes.
The bed area is more than comfortable for the average couple. The bed is 4 feet wide and just about long enough for myself (I am 6 foot 4 inches tall). It is a super simple design which is easy to convert from sofa mode to bed form.
A wetroom doubles up as the toilet space and shower area. Simply take the toilet out of the wetroom when you’d like to use the shower and pop it back in after. The toilet is not included, but we can help supply a new one if required. The wetroom is ventilated with an extractor to ensure moisture and smells escape the van ASAP! This area is also super handy for hanging wet coats.
The vans main appliances are a Thetford Triplex gas oven/hob/grill, a Dometic CRX80 80 litre fridge, an Autoterm 2kw diesel heater to help keep cosy in the winter months, and a Fiamma F80 awning to keep cool and dry in the summer months. All electrical chargers are Victron items (the bees knees) and there is a Shurflo pressurised pump system.
The van also benefits from a tow bar which has solely been used for a bike rack (never towed anything heavy) and a reversing camera so that you can see what you’re about to reverse into and stop in time! Alloy wheels also help to make the van look respectable and smart.
The possibilities and doors that this van opens up for you are life changing. The perfect tool for comfortable and carefree explorations. It will be greatly missed so we hope to find a lovely new owner who will make the most out of owning such a great van and take it on adventures around the UK, Europe and beyond!
The bed measures 4 feet wide and perfectly comfortable for the average couple. It’s a super simple design which is easy to convert from sofa to bed form.
