Citroen Relay L3H2.
Citroen Relay L3H2 Enterprise Model
Deisel, Adblue, EURO 6
MOT May 27th (I will get this done on return to the UK).
Bought new for a van conversion – never used as a trade vehicle.
Fully serviced at 8000 miles.
The vehicle is in great condition with low mileage.
No rust – it has spent most its time in Spain in dry low-salt climate.
One small dent in the back door, a small paint scrape on the right flank.
This was designed and built by me, Nate Murphy, it was used full-time (mostly stationary while I built a house) for one year, and then we have used it occasionally after that. The best way to get a feel for this van is by watching the video van tour supplied. I have sanded down and re-finished the kitchen work-top and any other areas that have been affected by wear – being made with solid wood means that it can be made to look good as new. I have also made a few improvements in preparation for sale.
This conversion was designed with the following principles in mind:
Maximise the feeling of space
Many vans feel quite ‘closed in’ – by being extremely efficient on space, where every centimeter counts, the van feels spacious. On rainy days, when you are cooped up, this van is pleasant to hang out in.
Clean and interconnecting lines
Throughout the van, horizontal lines create a feeling of continuity creating a sort of visual peace within the build – making the van feel uncluttered
Convenience and ease of use
A fixed bed means you do not make and remake a bed every day, while a two-second modification allows a dinner table to be set-up. Greywater can be directed out of the van when it is safe to do so – saving time and effort in dealing with it. The aim of this van is not to just look good, but be great to use on a daily basis. This van was designed and built by someone who has spent years living in a van – it is therefore designed to be suitable for long-term, off-grid, travel, and van-life.
Beautiful lighting
There is nothing worse than winding down in the evening under the glare of bright white lights. The lighting in this van has several options with indirect lighting options for both the kitchen and the bed. These allow the van to range from a low-lit cozy paradise to a well lit van for doing day-to-day things.
