Floella was built with flexible, wild and luxurious adventures in mind. She is a nearly new Ford Transit purchased in 2021 with just 58000 miles on the clock. The highly innovative van conversion was a collaboration between artist Fiona Campbell Hicks and Guy Collis of Pimp My Camper. The concept behind this van is to be a moving place where you can escape the pressures of life and slip into a more fluid time space – a luxury boutique home away from home.
Floella was lovingly created between 2021 and 2023 and still has 4 years left on the warranty for the conversion work (excluding electrics). Pimp My Camper are an excellent and conscientious creator who put their heart and soul into this conversion and pushed the boundaries on the meaning of the word luxury. It is the only van in the world to feature an expanding bathroom and fully automated moving kitchen. It has a top rated Emma Premium Diamond Mattress in the bedroom, insulation and automatic levellers for the best sleep of your life.
Inside the van is perfect either for full time van life or for comfortable trips on or off grid. It is decorated in a stylish ocean theme with blue seats and Fired Earth ocean coloured tiles. The exterior of the van is ocean blue. At the press of a button the kitchen rolls back, compressing the shower and maximising the cooking and dining space. A generous table folds out from under the bed to create a dining space for three. There is a generous Vitrifrigo 75 litre fridge freezer so you can have ice cubes with your drinks, and the Thetford top line hob will cook up a storm in no time. This is a van for food lovers… the kitchen is extraordinarily spacious and she comes with all these extra accessories if desired, from the Le Creuset Dutch Oven to the Alessi whistle kettle.
The full size bathroom, tiled with Fired Earth recycled glass tiles, has a ceiling height of 6 foot 5 for ultimate showers. There is loads of storage in the kitchen, above the driver’s seat, above the bed and below the bed. There is also a good sized garage. There is an hygienic Thetford C200CW cassette toilet with waste door in its own spacious cabin.
This camper can cater for everyone and anyone’s needs whether you’re a group of friends reuniting after some time apart, a small family, a couple yearning for a romantic escape or a solo traveller wanting to be at one with nature. Towards the rear, there is a fixed double bed which can be separated from the main living area by a bespoke Jali door, making the bedroom a place where you can shut yourself off and stargaze through the skylight without interruptions. At the front, there is also a fold-down adult bed, which means the van can have two cabins – ideal for two friends taking a trip and wanting a degree of privacy. There’s even a roof terrace for a truly unrivalled view of whatever it is you want to see.
Floella is highly spec’d. She is well lit with dimmable LED lights so that you are never fumbling around in the dark. She has automatic levelling legs to make sure she is completely level for your perfect night’s sleep. There is rear air bag suspension, The two 2002 mono cell 400 watt solar panels give it ample off grid capacity, a leisure battery with 220ah and built in heating / cooling plus a 3000w pure signal inverter that charges the leisure battery when on hook up and a 21 amp intelligent battery charger plus full sound deadening and insulation. She has a 50 amp renogy dc to dc split charger and a 20 amp dc12 volt charger from 240 volt hook up. There are 2 roof vents (one with 12 V fan), and a Truma diesel heating and cooling system plus hot water for lovely showers. The Truma can be programmed remotely so your van is cosy and warm when you get back from the pub. Floella also boasts a Reverse Camera system and a Kenwood DAB stereo.
Floella is raring and ready to go wherever your heart is calling. She is Euro 6 compatible and fits surprisingly easily into London life at London’s smartest addresses, but she also loves life on the wild side and happily negotiates country roads.

Pimp My Campervan are a very experienced campervan conversion company who lovingly created this one of a kind campervan. They are available to do extra customisation should it be required.
Floella has a fixed double bed at the back and a fold down adult bed at the front. The fixed double bed is 120cm wide and 190cm long. The fold-down bed is 176 cm long. During the day or if you don’t need it, this second bed folds up to create a comfy sofa area and when travelling it transforms into a third belted seat.
