VW T25 Auto Sleeper conversion
The van is a right-hand drive 5 gear VW T25 2.1L petrol engine original Auto Sleeper conversion.
It comes with sink, gas-/ electric-/ battery-powered fridge, gas two hob range with grill, sink with working water pump, gas heating, internal lighting, electric hook up, rock n roll bed, two tables with poles, cupboards, dim out curtains all round and a leisure battery. All original upholstery and even the original crockery. The “captain’s seat” front passenger seat swivels 180 degrees. The sofa folds into a double bed and there’s also a double bed in loft space which is classed as an adult bed but really is more suitable for kids.
We bought the van in 2015 from a reputable dealer who had bought from the original owner who himself kept it in immaculate condition and retained all records. We have a near full service and MOT history. We have had it serviced every year and looked after it well.
The body is in pretty good shape but some localised rusting commensurate with the van’s age and minor damage to front bumper. In 2016 we had the van resprayed in reseda green (RAL 6011) which looks great and in 2022 had ceramic coating to maintain colour. The respray was a vey professional job by Campervan Coachworks in Essex and we have pictures of the van at point it was being prepped for spraying. We also have some Autosleeper decals in black which we never got round to putting on the van.
It drives well and has been a great vehicle for us to explore UK and some of Europe.
Double bed for adults and a double bed in loft space most suitable for kids, although classed as adult by manufacturer.
