Conversion Description

This stunning rustic camper has been designed as a home and built for off grid living and to maximise storage. With a background in traditional woodworking and carpentry as well as environmental science I have built a number of converted vans in a handcrafted style with many materials coming from sustainable and reclaimed sources. This has been my most recent build and my home for the last 3 years, with adventure and practicality in mind it has loads of storage in the back of the van enough for surfboards, bikes, climbing gear or anything else you may need.

The wood used in the build is sourced from both reclaimed pallet wood and a variety of waney edge cedar from local sustainable woodyards, and hand made whittled hazel and ash from offcuts of managed woodlands. I have designed the van with space and practicality in mind, and through all seasons it has plenty of light and air flow; containing a fiamma turbo vent fan, two side windows and 3 porthole windows. All the systems in the van are reliable and functioning. A 120w solar panel keeps the leisure battery topped up, providing enough power throughout the year for all charging needs as well as powering a brand new 21l box fridge. An outbacker stove equipped with an insulated flue provides for a very warm and cosy environment. The van is fully sound deadened and insulated with closed cell memory foam, and a mixture of sheep’s wool and recycled Eko roll. The kitchen comes equipped with a very efficient wo burner hob along with a Portuguese copper sink and whale pump tap fitted to a 25 litre water tank. A big fold out table additionally provides luxurious dining with a view!

This is a beautiful unique build and has been a great space to live and a labour of love to build. Although sad to be parting, I will be happy to see it go to a new home with more adventures to come. Viewings welcome and Happy to answer any questions or queries 🙂
Currently looking to sell as I am now moving abroad for work, viewings are welcome .
