Peugeot Boxer L4H3 3.0L
The 3.0L engine makes it a very easy drive, and I find it easier than my car of the same age to drive for long distances. The power steering makes it good to manoeuvre as well. We range from 5’2″ and 6″ and all find it comfortable to drive with good visibility.
We are the second owners after the Scottish Ambulance service, so you can be sure it has a regular service history. Since getting it one year ago, we have serviced and MOT-ed it with a reputable garage, have also bought a new remote locking key, and locking diesel cap. The van has a full 12 months MOT.
Some age-related markings on the bodywork, but generally good for its age.
6 speed diesel.
We bought this van from the previous owner who had converted it and lived in it over the Scottish Winter. Since bringing down to the South West, we have found it always warm and comfortable, whatever the weather. The woodburner has a great hot water pipe system which works as a kind of central heating, as well as having a good diesel heater. There is the original insulation as well as a fibreglass vapour barrier. The conversion is beautifully done, with wooden floors and panelling making it cosy and stylish inside. The solar panels have ensured we have never run out of battery power, despite running lights and other electrical equipment. You feel self-sufficient without having to do without creature comforts!
We have fully equipped it, and are offering for sale with everything included – you could literally drive it away and camp for a week! (all kitchen equipment, bedding and other accessories.)
