Stunning Vintage Bessacar Acropolis - Dorothy

Beautiful vintage Bessacar Acropolis caravan named Dorothy. We purchased Dorothy in 2022 and have had so much fun bringing her back to life and siting her in the beautiful lake district.
We love to roam however so have decided to downsize, and now Dorothy needs a new loving home to complete her restoration and keep her maintained.
She has two long sofas which act as two singles, a third sofa which converts into a double bed, and brackets for a third single bunk, so potentially sleeping 5, although we’ve never added a bunk.
Her kitchen area is beautiful, made of original hand carpentry teak units, as is her dresser unit and drawers.
The sun shines in beautifully through her orange skylight, and her little bathroom, with it’s little wooden windowed door is my personal favorite feature.
We added solid wood flooring throughout, and removable upholstery covers, so the originals still sit beneath. The material used was sources from an old barn in Crook, and is very high quality upholstery.
William Morris paper with a matte varnish finish was added to the walls.
Dorothy still needs some love and attention, hence her price, particularly in her ceiling board.
Her floor is made of solid tongue and groove joists so no problems there, and her exterior is aluminum in a high polish laquer which is amazing for its age. All windows are original and intact too.
We added an ehu hook-up system with sockets at both ends and externally for the awning.
Water system is something we never looked into, not did we add a leisure battery.
Brand new tyres and wheels fit August 2022.
Comes with original yellow melamine dinner service.
