Large Stylish Sink – GRP so lightweight | Custom Made Copper Tap | Stainless Steel Footswitch | 12v Pump | Securely Fitted Water Container (made of foodsafe plastic)

Beautiful and Unique Custom Made Kitchen Unit (lovingly made with reclaimed Cherry, Chestnut, Oak and Driftwood. Complete with vintage drawer from an old GWR desk that has been refurbished, lined with cork and fitted with a new lock so valuables can be locked away safely when van doors are left open at the beach etc.

Storage Cupboard over Cab – fully insulated and lined. Door has a custom made copper handle and stays open with hydraulics making loading/unloading easy!

Custom Carpentry Throughout – including lovely shelves over the kitchen space and in the bedroom area. Bed can be turned into a sofa for lounging/dining or working at the table. The wheel arches are boxed in and include two geometric tiles for placing hot drinks when the bed is in sofa mode. There is a full size mirror with two hidden hooks and two small shelves behind. So a couple of pairs of shoes, coats and some clothes fit behind there. There is also a designated handy space for umbrella/ beach parasol/fishing rods/mic stand?! near the side door. Lovely solid table – made from a piece of chestnut tree that I cut and sanded down- it’s fitted with the Fiamma table leg system which is very secure and easy to use. The table top slots into front bulkhead neatly when not in use.

I treated all the wood with natural products only – including beeswax and food grade oils & essential oils.

The mattress is cut to size foam with memory foam topper. It is standard width, but shortened from the usual 190cm to 172cm. If you sleep diagonally you have about 2m length – or you could adapt the bed for sleeping length ways (I did have an idea for that & am willing to share if that’s a deal breaker 😀 )

The mattress has just been freshly upholstered in a beautiful shade of light green- the new cover is removable and machine washable – and better yet it’s NEVER been slept on. There are two stainless steel curtain rails for the custom made fully lined curtains at rear and the lighter curtains at the front of the bed which give it a very cosy four-poster bed feeling. Also, two new pillows made to match in the leaf print cotton that’s used elsewhere in the van.

Custom Made Blackout Curtain – with magnets to easily close off the cab from the back of the van. From the front it looks black and the inside it’s white. Extremely versatile: it can be open for daylight and for access between the front and back, should you need to reach something or climb through in an emergency- or closed for sleeping/stealth camping mode, or when you want all light blocked out – such as on a rainy afternoon when it then doubles up as a screen for the projector….

… yes the projector. This baby cost me nearly £700 new…. it’s a super compact and portable short throw projector. Game changer. Seeing as there’s a custom made shelf to hold it in the perfect position for watching films/documentaries/YouTube etc in bed, I can’t not include it in the sale… it’s also handy when working if you want to mirror your phone/laptop screen or view things on a larger screen etc.

I should probably mention that the van is fully insulated throughout with 4 types of insulation. Self adhesive thermal/soundproofing foam, recycled plastic insulation, Celotex and foil/bubble vapour barrier (& aluminium tape). There is even Celotex underneath the lovely reclaimed oak flooring. At the side door and rear I’ve had aluminium trim fitted which tidies it all off nicely.

There is a Fiamma sky vent with mosquito net – ideal for when cooking and for night time ventilation when it’s needed. You can also open the second side door when cooking if you like. There is a Dometic window fitted in said side door, with factory fitted mosquito net and black out blind.

Also included are a set of Italian made to measure reflective/thermal fitted windscreen & window covers. Ideal for keeping heat in or out and for even more privacy.

Other cool bits and bobs included: Reversing Camera & Dash Cam.

So much thought and so much time has gone into lovingly converting this van into a tiny home on wheels. She has some completely unique features. No plasticcyness . I used a carefully planned out combination of wood and fabric so that she feels homely whilst not being too heavy – I challenge you to find a van with so much real wood and a payload of 840kg.

There is LOADS of floor space despite all that’s in there – especially when the bed is in sofa mode. This is also pretty rare in converted vans. But super handy that it’s possible to easily transport big stuff – and super cool that there’s space for doing yoga and dancing around or for spending rainy days inside. You could even fit a guest bed/kids bed on the floor (sadly not tried that out – but it would fit! And there are three seats!) – or even a dog bed?! Again not tried but there is a very good amount of floor space if you do have a four legged friend🐾

To say I LOVE this van is an understatement. I thought I’d be keeping her forever and a day, which is why I converted her with so much attention to detail and so many cool features – like being able to park up at a remote beach, with a surf board on the roof, make pizza in the oven and then watch a film in bed after dark?! Heck I actually made a birthday cake for a 10 year old boy whose family I met on the road and would otherwise have gone without one!

Why am I selling her? (Her name is Lola… she was a-)

I’ve decided to relocate overseas, and thanks to a combination of Covid and Brexit and her being right hand drive – I’ve not managed to find a way to take her with me on a permanent basis.

It won’t be easy to let her go after so much work, but I really trust that the right person will find her, look after her and go on all the adventures she was built to have! And well, if you’ve read this far then maybe you’re that person? Any questions/ extra photos wanted please do not hesitate to ask. Serious buyers are welcome to view and test drive (with proof of insurance please).

Thanks for looking <3

Beds Description
