I worked as a furniture maker/designer for many years, and used my skills to optimize the space for micro camping whist still using it as a comfortable five seater family car. The 3rd row of seats have been removed to create a space of 220cm X 140cm (with the driver’s and passengers’ seat pulled to the forward position.) This allows an area for a sofa bed and table during the day, and a full sized mattress for a comfortable bed at night. A full length mattress which has been cut into 3 pieces to give maximum flexibility creating a sofa/bed, whilst also allowing the three rear passenger seats to be put into their upright position – the mattress fits in the rear boot area.

The conversion is a carefully considered and well executed using real zebra wood veneer for the table, there’s a kitchen countertop and pull out shelf below, as well as lots of other storage spaces. There’s a place for most of what you need to keep things organized and tidy for short camping trips.

The kitchen is under the tailgate in the rear and comes with a tailgate zippered awning to give privacy and protect against the elements. It can be used to cook under, shower and store things, it take less than a minute to set up and take down.

a 110cm X 70cm X 12cm drawer for camping gear, pull out kitchen draw of 110cm X 33cm X 12cm that houses a water container, collapsible washing up and dish draining rack, plates, cooking utensils, cups, plates and glasses (with strong sliding rails that lock in place.)

Storage:
A large drawer for food measures 80cm X 37cm X 16cm, with a pull out shelf below 73cm w X 40cm. There’s also an odds and ends drawer of 80cm X 37cm X 6 cm for screw drivers, lights, rubbish bags etc. The countertop work space is 115cm X 37cm. This is cleverly designed conversion unit that is also easily removable with four screws.

The sale price includes a Wild Earth side awning and Brunner Pilote tailgate awing (with strong magnets for quick set up) an electric cooler, a gas stove and gas canisters, insulated window shades, plates, gold cutlery (to match the gold van – obvs 😁) and a few miscellaneous items: small hammer, pegs screwdriver USB lights, water container, collapsible dish bowl and draining rack etc. You’ll have pretty much everything you need for your first camping trip!
