VW Transporter T5 (T28 85 TDI)
We bought Tallulah in 2021. Sheβs a 1.9 TDI that was professionally converted by her previous owner to give a beautiful wooden interior. Had a full service in June and has an MOT certificate until August 2025. Leisure battery was replaced in June 2024 and van battery replaced in June 2023. Full MOT and service history available.
3 seats with belts in the front and two seats with belts in the rear.
Manual gearbox with 5 gears.
There is a crack in the rear right panel where someone kicked the back panel. This has been covered and is watertight. Minor scratches on bodywork.
We replaced the timing belt in 2021 but other than minor repairs have not had any issues with the engine.
We are gutted to be selling our beloved Tallulah but are moving abroad so itβs time for her to have some new adventures!
We bought her already converted from her previous owner who was a retired lady that had always wanted to have a campervan. She poured a lot of love (and money!) into having her professionally converted. Each wooden panel in her interior has been handcrafted especially and is perfect if youβd like to have a campervan that stands out.
There is rock and roll bed that fits two adults and a pop top roof meaning you can stand with plenty of room. The two front passenger seats also fold flat to make more seating.
There is a two ring gas hob which connects to a butane gas cylinder underneath. There are plenty of other cupboards and drawers meaning there is plenty of room for storage.
The leisure battery is easily located under the passenger seat and has a split charge relay meaning as your drive the battery will charge. This was replaced in June 2024. The leisure battery powers all the lighting in the van and also a 12V cigarette lighter. The van has a 240V electric hook up which charges a 3 pin plug inside. We usually plug in a 4 plug adapter to this meaning we can have multiple things charging.
We have loved these three years with Tallulah but are excited that she can carry on adventuring for many years to come with new owners!
