The big Yellow Magic Bus

Time has come to sell our big yellow “Magic Bus”. The reason for selling is because our future plans have changed and will be leaving the country sooner then we expected. We initially were thinking of living full time in the bus so we worked hard to prepare it for an off grid life.

All the 12v system apart from 3 way fridge and sockets are new. The water system is also brand new. We only installed them 2 months ago and been used properly for about a month so will get alot more future use.

Electrical System

• 200w Solar panels (Eco-worthy)
• 100ah Class A leisure battery (Platinum)
• 1000w Inverter UPS function (Renogy)
• 20amp MPPT charge controller (Renogy)
• 4 amp Mains charger
• x4 12v LED lights
• VSR (Split Charge Relay)
• 12v socket and USB port
• Reversing sensor

So this runs very well for off-grid applications. It’s fantastic as we never felt like we needed more power but if we ever wanted to go hook up for a night it was very simple as all the 240 volt sockets will run on the grid or off grid with the flick of a switch.
There is also a VSR system connected for added power while moving around.

Water System

The entire system is Brand new;
• Boiler (camplux)
• 30psi water pump (Shurflo)
• Filter (Shurflo)
• Accumulator (Fiamma)
• Piping and fittings 12mm (John Guest)
• Hot/Cold mixer tap
• External hot/cold shower (Bullfinch)
• 25ltr water tank

This works amazing the hot water comes out almost instantly so washing dishes is a breeze and having showers are awesome. All you need is to set up the pop up tent and away you go. Also there’s a hose attachment that is great if you have dogs to wash them down after a trip to the beach or muddy field.

The van has everything you need for a comfortable trip away or for full time living.
With a convertible two sofa to double bed configuration.
• New protective mattress topper for the memory foam bed and 2 brand new bamboo pillows and duvet.
• Plenty of storage (two main wardrobes for clothing and space under countertop and bed for all other bits and bobs)
• Bespoke cupboard to cover the boiler and gas bottle and to house the external shower piping
• New roll down curtains and blinds
• 3 burner stove with grill
• x2 Plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils
• x2 Camping chairs
• Chemical portable toilet
• 3 LPG bottles (1 propane 2 butane)
• LPG gas heater
• Fire extinguisher
• Air vent

Now as this is a van that has been around for a few years it has some quirks;
The driver door is a little worn so doesn’t close too easily but I’m sure wouldn’t be a costly fix if you couldn’t live with it.
Sliding door closes but may need a new catch again don’t believe would be a big fix.
The barrel for the key broke so we had it replaced which means the key for the sliding door and barrel don’t match, but the central locking work so is not been an essential issue to us.
Windscreen may need changing as some small leak on driver side.
And odometer is faulty last checked properly was at 91000 miles with a new engine in 2016 can’t tell you the amount exactly now, can imagine that is over 150000 miles now.

Apart of those little things everything else works at it should, ready for new adventures.

The van will be ready for viewings after the 15th January as will be out of the country.
