VW Crafter CR35 LWB
I am only the second owner of the base van, which I purchased in January 2019 from VW/Mann.
It was previously owned by them as a parts/service van. It has a full manufacturer service for that part of its life, and I have had the van regularly serviced at my family garage since the conversion. It has the higher rated CR35 135bhp engine. The van is parked undercover on my driveway at home.
The clutch had been replaced just before I purchased, and I have since had the timing belt done replaced, and more recently I have had the wheels powder coated along with new tyres all round including the spare, the aircon was freshly gassed this spring.
I planned the conversion layout of The Milano myself, which was then carried out by Mark1 Conversions in Honiton during spring 2019. You only have to look on their website along with the 5* feedback from customers to see the quality of their work. I specifically wanted a 5 berth van that didn’t have the faff of folding/making beds etc. You will see from one of the photos I have the full pack of receipts and manuals for all fittings and fixtures.
Overall spec as follows:-
– 95,800 Miles (had approximately 75K when I purchased for conversion)
– Factory air con to the cab
– 5 Berth sleeping & travel
– Passenger & Driver swivel seats
– 3 Fixed, 3 point seatbelt, seats behind
– Removable table- Toilet compartment with corner sink
– Smev 2 burner hob and sink- Solid Oak worktop
– Large fridge/freezer
– MV Airo Diesel heater
– Solar Panel
– Split Charger & mains hook up
– Full lighting throughout with lots of USB sockets
– Large underslung fresh and waste water tanks
– Widthways double bed to the rear with dog kennel beneath to the front, and garage behind accessed from the rear double doors
– Small single bunk over the double
– Lower beds have mattresses with 4″ foam and 2″ memory foam
– Large skyline pop top with double bed accessed from storage shelves in the main van which act as a ladder
There is no hot water on the van as that was not a requirement for my needs (we use the kettle), however future provision was planned with connections/space left for a heater beneath the rear passenger seats. There are many more features and fittings which can be explained when viewed.
The van is in great condition, has taken myself and my family all round Europe, and everything works as it should.
I have advertised elsewhere.
