This wonderful converted campervan is the ideal choice for anyone looking at long-term van life or big adventures. As a converted minibus, it’s got loads of comfortable living space, including a separate, tiled bathroom complete with built-in toilet, sink and shower (heated), as well as a beautiful kitchen with maple worktops, covered basin, a good size fridge and cupboard space, as well as a very comfortable living/sleeping area. The conversion was undertaken as a lockdown project by a talented carpenter and interior designer, with a real eye for comfort and style. I’ve lived in the van for 6 months now, and never once felt anything but comfortable and self-sufficient.
With capacity for 150 litres of fresh water, as well as a 295 Watt solar panel and 2 x 110 amp leisure batteries, the van can handle long stints off-grid as well. In terms of power, I’ve had the fridge running, charged my phone and laptop (using the multiple USB and 240V sockets available) for remote work and used the lights and water pump, and never once had to worry about running the batteries down while away from shore power for a few days. The van’s bottled gas system allows for hob cooking, hot water in the kitchen and hot showers too, which is another luxury.
The van has plenty of storage space too, if you’re looking at van life as a longer-term option. As I say, my whole life has been run from these four wonderful wheels for the last 6 months including a long road trip across Europe, so I know first-hand that it’s got everything you need. Reason for selling is that I’ve been offered a new job, which wouldn’t lend itself to long-term van life unfortunately. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to know more!
The seats either side of the table pull right out and the table can bridge the gap between them. The backs of the dining seats reposition, along with the two rectangular ottomans to create a standard, full sized bed. Thatβs 4β 6β wide by 6β 3β long.
These seat pads are made from proper mattress foam and the bed is cleverly designed to ensure they lock together tight and cannot not drift apart during the night. Itβs a proper bed. When itβs not a bed itβs a very comfortable multi format dining set, sofa, duo settee type set-up.
