Ford Transit Nugget Westfalia conversion
The Ford Nugget is a well-planned and compact conversion with all the efficiency and intelligence to be expected from the Westfalia brand. The Nugget packs a lot into a relatively small space. It is a four berth camper with upper and lower beds that slide in and out easily. There are five forward facing, three-point seatbelts (three in the back and two in the front), which is extremely rare in a campervan of this size. These are fitted as standard and not a retro-fit. It benefits from a high roof to facilitate the upper bed, which allows for plenty of head room when standing and when in the rear kitchen area.
This vehicle is a left hand drive which is perfect for driving on the continent. There is no difference in UK insurance.
2 litre diesel engine
MOT until February 2023
Servicing and work:
In 2020 we had the van’s body work and substructure renovated and the van completely resprayed. We have a full listing of the work that was done, provided by the specialist company who undertook the work and bearing their signature. A very small amount of bubbling has reoccurred on one of the wheel arches but this is to be expected on a van of this age. This and other minor issues are easily rectified as part of the ongoing future upkeep process.
The van has recently fitted with a brand new Ford warranted fuel pump. Both timing chains were also replaced at the same time.
We have regularly serviced the vehicle during the 6 years that we that we have owned it. All receipts and records for all work done have been retained and there are also receipts for work done prior to our ownership.
