This van is fully equipped and designed for off-grid living or campsite adventures. Whether you’re looking for weekend escapes or long-term travel, it’s ready to go! It was professionally converted in 2023, by a company called ‘one of a kind campers’ based in wales. It is designed so that it can be used completely off grid. This Citroen Relay has been lovingly handcrafted down to the last detail, from bespoke curtains to handmade kitchen cabinets. The walls and ceiling are pine tongue and groove, painted in a blue and white colour scheme and has hard-wearing laminate flooring throughout for a cosy rustic feel.
This is the very rare EXTRA high roof version, perfect for tall people!
The fixed double bed at the rear of the van offers a cosy retreat, complete with two stylish porthole windows for natural light to be let in. It has two USB sockets, and enjoy your evening reads with 2 built-in reading lights. Above the bed, there are two storage cabinets to keep clothes, books, and essentials tucked away yet within reach.
The kitchen is fully equipped and can be used liberally in the same way you would use a kitchen at home. It has a small window that can be opened, 2 hobs, a full oven, two 240 V sockets, generous worktop space and a beautiful Belfast sink with a hot and cold water brass tap, which allows you to enjoy cooking freely and without the limitations often brought about when travelling. The large bespoke cabinets and drawers offer ample storage for cookware, pantry essentials, and more. Topped off with a solid wood countertop. The van’s internal shower is cleverly designed for convenience and comfort, with hot water powered by a Truma Combi boiler. Tucked into the space is a clothes hook which allows you to hang clothes while the shower is not being used.
The van’s seating area is designed for both relaxation and practicality, offering a comfortable spot located next to the large window, this area is filled with natural light and offers a cozy nook that seamlessly blends into the living space. The seating area is upholstered for style using a tartan material to blend in with the rest of the vans colour scheme. It is also design to maximise the space as beneath are three solid wood draws and open storage to store larger bulkier items. There’s even more storage above the cab area.
At the rear of the van, you’ll find a well-organized and efficient utility area housing the essential systems that power the van. The large 70L fresh water tank is securely mounted for easy access via the external fill point, while the grey water tank is tucked neatly underneath with a simple slide valve for quick and clean emptying. The dual 110AH solar batteries and the Renogy Rover 400W solar system (2 200w solar panels) with Bluetooth connectivity sit alongside a 1000W inverter, ensuring you have off-grid power whenever you need it. The Truma Combi boiler and the gas bottle are safely stored with all necessary safety sign-offs. This setup ensures you have a self-contained, reliable system for water, power, and heating.
