Volkswagen T5 SWB
Thomas has taken us on some fantastic adventures around England, Scotland and Wales since 2020 and has been a solid and reliable first campervan. We have recently moved to a bigger van so Thomas is ready to have a new owner! We welcome viewings and, given the age of the vehicle, open to offers. More photos available on request.
This van is a VW T5 Transporter (Kombi) 1.9 TDI with 5 gears. Before our ownership, it had a reconditioned engine installed by DNA Automotive at around 250,000 miles which still runs extremely well and has never let us down. The bodywork is generally in good condition for its age. Paperwork is available from 2017 for most conversion features, as well as service and repair history and it has been professionally serviced regularly at reputable garages. The next MOT is due in September 2025 and has done just over 1,000 miles since its last MOT. The timing belt was changed in March 2023 at 285,000 miles.

The main space sleeping arrangement is a new L-shaped sofa bed from Van Furniture – 110cm wide and 160cm length for two sleepers. It converts quickly from sofa to bed by sliding one section out and re-arranging the cushions to form the mattress. The pop-top has a bed platform suitable for one adult or two children.
