Tiny Tina the Transit

Putting feelers out for selling my beloved tiny home on wheels, Tiny Tina the transit. A medium roof height, short wheel base 2010 Transit van. She’s been my full time home for a year now but it’s time to move on. She’s equipped for off grid living minus a shower but nothing a campsite stop can’t sort! From the outside, she doesn’t look like much but inside she’s been converted to a high standard with a roomy L shaped kitchen, tall wardrobe/shelf space, a fixed bed with memory foam mattress and topper, over head storage and a large garage space. Headroom is 5’8 and bed width is max 5’6 across, so is perfect for someone smaller. I’m 5’5 and it’s all the space I need.
Since owning her, I’ve invested in making her as comfortable for everyday living as possible.
She has:
– 200W solar panel with 150AH Expedition Plus AGM Leisure Battery
– Full Victron solar set up including offshore charger
– 12V compressor fridge with freezer compartment
– Diesel heater (only 10 months old)
– 3 x 12v spotlights
– USB sockets by the bed for convenient phone charging
– Plug sockets with 1000W inverter
– Water pump with 30L fresh water storage
– 12V mushroom fan (pulls air both in and out) for ventilation

I have also had deadlocks fitted on both cab doors and the sliding door for security when out of the van, a steering wheel lock, as well as interior locks on rear doors and sliding door for extra peace of mind when in the van. I also currently have a retractable stairgate on the sliding door for my dog, but this can be removed if not wanted.

As for the van it’s self – 133k on the clock but is still being used so will go up slightly. She has 5 months left on her MOT. I had all the necessary work done to pass her last time around, including a new leaf spring and ball joint. She’s also had a new ignition switch and a brake cable replaced, plus a new starter battery that’s only 9 months old. There is a very slight oil leak but this never affects the oil level and doesn’t ever drip onto the floor, but she does need an oil change in the very near future. She still runs really well and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. She’s taken me on long journeys (over 4hrs no issues) and is a comfortable drive! Externally, she is showing her age a bit, with a few rust spots and there’s some spots where the paint is bubbling slightly. This can be fixed with a little TLC. I bought her with a slight scuff to one side (not major at all), some scratches on the front bumper and a couple of stone chips in the windscreen (have never affected me or got worse but also easy to have fixed). She’s missing two hub caps (on one side) and the cab temperature knob broke a week into having her! (I just use pliers to adjust the temp!). The drivers side wing mirror case is also cracked but still on and functional. All these can be replaced, I just haven’t and won’t be before selling. She comes with two ignition keys, two keys for the deadlocks and one for the steering wheel lock.
In the cab she’s the green machine! The bulkhead is painted sage green…and so is the dash. However, this could also use a bit of tlc as it’s something I never fully finished… (remaining paint included in sale). The seats are in good condition and everything else works perfectly. She has AUX connection and a parrot bluetooth phone connector which I’ve never used. Funky crochet steering wheel and seatbelt cover included!

Overall, she would make someone a lovely weekend camper or she is easily capable of full time living! Price considers everything mechanical but also the quality of her living! Would love to see her go to someone who can put a little bit into her and will enjoy her as much as I have!
