We are regrettably selling our trusty first micro camper as we have now bought a motorhome.
The car drives really well, has full-service history with all paperwork to show and has been well looked after with regular repairs as required. Bodywork has some age-related marks but still in good condition. Last service was in December 2024 and MOT expires January 2026.
It has decent mileage for a car of its age and since it’s built like a small van, she has many years left in her with the potential to run up to very high mileage.
It had a new Cambelt fitted at 69K miles, 4 New Tyres were changed less than a year ago and a new spare tyre too (receipts to show). It has added charcoal grey Wolf Racer Alloy Wheels which adds a nice touch. It has a DAB Bluetooth radio and plenty of storage throughout (see pictures).
In addition to a Micro camper, the car can be used as 5-seater family car with sliding doors which are really useful in tight spaces.
The car had a Redcote Leisure Conversion Kit module installed in 2021 which allows it to be used as a micro camper whilst retaining its 5 seats for daily use, as it packs down nicely into the boot space.
When in use the module can be laid flat over the folded seats to make a double bed or fold into L-shaped seating with a table. Complete with cushions and black-out window covers (specifically made for this model).
There is a pull-out drawer with a single portable gas stove and space to store cutlery, small plates, bin bags, washing up liquid etc. It has an electric hook-up installed at the rear of the vehicle and inside has the option of 4 plugs or a small leisure battery which can be charged up via the mains or via the solar panel.
This model of Kangoo has great storage, with 4 rectangular storage cupboards, an open storage vessel above the cab and storage in both sliding doors. It also has built-in roof bars which for bigger trips we mount a top box to store everything for our travels.
This has been a great all year-round vehicle, we have used it to camp both off-grid and at campsites around the UK and in France. We love the wide-angled window-screen, it makes driving through pretty places really memorable. It’s particularly helpful overnight after weddings and for parking up on the outskirts of London due to its ULEZ status.
We didn’t use it much for overnight trips between November and January, but if you installed a small diesel heater it would get very toasty very quickly if you wanted to use it in the peak of winter.
We bought this vehicle to get a taste of campervan life and straight away we loved it. We have purchased an array of extra’s for the camper which are practical and space-saving – all of which are in good condition and included in this sale (see list below).
